COACHING AND TRAINING
In the next couple weeks we will share rare glimpses of our company training and movement coaching.
For us, dancing is more than shooting limbs out and spinning in the air. The vital training of effective torso expression demands much internal body mediations and repeated physical drills to attain the distinct grounding of contemporary dance.
The class is a complex session in both technical training as well as aesthetic immersion to develop performing maturity.

BIRD DAYS IN THE WILD
As our dancers put on the bird masks and try out the vibrant pace of birds in the wild, we suddenly feel heavy.
Birds’ days in the wild are numbered. Not if bush fire and forest clearing for cash plantations have become a common phenomenon.
BIRDS.UNSUNG is our plea to reach out to the young audience. Only their empathy and love of nature can pull back the world from the brink of total collapse. Shanti, shanti, shanti…..

Wrap up the lanterns for now
It was a beautiful Mid-Autumn Festival weekend for our performance of Moon Rabbits. No rain! We even had a glimpse of the super moon (though a bit hazy).
The intergenerational show garners warmth and conviviality from the audience. It truly drives home the idea of the festival’s celebration of reunion and gathering with loved ones.
It’s a wrap and we'll share more photos from our photographer Beng Chye soon.
