If you are a seafarer or offshore worker travelling with Qatar Airways, be sure to drop by their dedicated Mariner Lounge at Hamad International Airport.

Located on the second floor of the Duty Free Plaza, the Mariner Lounge was established in November 2020 by the award-winning airline to cater to the needs of seafarers and offshore workers during the COVID crisis.

The lounge has since become a haven of comfort and convenience for maritime professionals passing through Doha, offering them a place to relax, dine and refresh during layovers between flights.

To access this lounge, seafarers and offshore passengers travelling with Qatar Airways will need to show valid documentation while in transit.

For those travelling with other airlines, Travel Cue is pleased to arrange lounge access for personnel whilst en route. This service can be tailored for individual travelers or arranged on a corporate basis, with special rates available.

A new chapter awaits Cathay Pacific Airways following the announcement of its bold new investment strategy for the future.

In preparation for its subsequent growth and expansion, the Hong Kong-based carrier is set to invest more than HKD 100 billion over the next seven years. This comes after the company posted a 15.3% year-on-year decline in net profit for the first half of 2024.
