Travel Cue is proud to continue its tradition as the luncheon sponsor for the Filipino Association for Mariners' Employment, Inc. (FAME)’s recent 17th Golf Invitational Tournament. 🏌️‍♂️

The day was filled with deep discussions on business relationships, collaborations, and the ways we can continue supporting the maritime community. Starting in April, passengers flying with Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Scoot will not be allowed to use power banks or charge them throughout their flight.

They will still be able to bring a power bank onto the plane, but it must be stowed in their carry-on bags. Power banks with a capacity of up to 100Wh may be brought onboard without approval, while those between 100Wh and 160Wh require approval.

This decision comes after multiple in-flight fire incidents worldwide linked to batteries, including a recent incident involving an Air Busan aircraft in South Korea, which is suspected to have been caused by a power bank.
