The route takes us across the iconic Shinei Hill, renowned for its panoramic views of colorful patchwork fields, where shades of green, gold, and violet bloom seasonally in endless waves. Here, the beauty of Hokkaido's rural landscapes unfolds, providing a mesmerizing backdrop as we pedal forward.
Next, we head towards Shikisai Hill, a flower paradise where seasonal blooms span across expansive gardens. This scenic wonder invites us to pause and soak in the fragrance of lavender, sunflowers, and cosmos, while enjoying the refreshing mountain air. The trails offer breathtaking vistas of Daisetsuzan’s distant peaks, enhancing the harmony of nature and providing countless photo-worthy moments.
Our journey culminates at Tokachidake Onsen, nestled high on the slopes of Mount Tokachi. Climbing Mt Asahidake
Just got back from an epic trek up Mt. Asahidake! 🥾🌄 It started off a bit drizzly, but the weather cleared up just in time for some breathtaking views. The wind was definitely a factor, especially towards the summit, but it was totally worth it. 🌬️ The terrain was definitely a challenge for beginners, with some steep inclines and rocky paths, but the sense of accomplishment at the top was incredible. 🏆 Who else has tackled this mountain?
