π TriFactor Triathlon 2024 - Triumph Amid Challenges! π
This year's TriFactor Triathlon at East Coast Park on July 28th was a true testament to the spirit of perseverance and athletic excellence. Despite an unexpected oil spill in June, our community came together to adapt and conquer, transforming the traditional swim-bike-run into a safe and exciting run-bike-run event. πββοΈπ΄ββοΈπββοΈ
With over 1300 participants, including 200 young athletes, the energy was electric! The Philippines Elite dominated the TriFactor Sprint Elite Championship, with Andrew Kim Remolino and Matthew Justine Hermosa finishing together at 00:58:15, and Singapore's Russel Lee taking a well-deserved third place. π΅ππΈπ¬
The women's race saw Raven Faith Alcoseba finish first at 01:08:30, followed by Candace Marie Socito at 01:10:22, and Nicole Marie Del Rosario at 01:10:53. In the standard triathlon, James Farley, Guillaume Pichot, and Daniel Allender took the top three spots in the men's race, while Ines Caby, Tatiana Timofeeva, and Jie Shi Neo led the women's race.

Highlights from the first ever T.R.A.C. by TriFactor event!
This was a completely indoor race, where participants swam at the OCBC Aquatic Centre and ran at the 100PLUS Promenade. Weather conditions were not an issue!
That was our first proper physical event in years and we have a lot more coming up.
The TriFactor Run & RunSwim is happening on 6 August - it's outdoors and is the first half-marathon official race since the pandemic. More at trifactor.asia.
