Here at Plus, we’re thrilled to see our Re-Route: Little India festival featured in .lifestyle 联合早报 and incredibly proud that it won the SG Mark Gold at the 11th Singapore Good Design Award by . Huge thanks to Lianhe Zaobao and for the spotlight!

Re-Route : Little India is a creative exploration commissioned by the and to shift the focus from typical tourist hotspots to the authentic, everyday spaces that form the true heart of the local Indian community. Through thoughtful experience design and community engagement, the festival aimed to connect festival goers with the rich socio-cultural tapestry of Little India, encouraging them to uncover hidden stories, traditions, and experiences beyond the usual paths.

A big thank you to the Singapore Tourism Board and Design Singapore for believing in our vision and to the communities of Little India for welcoming us into your spaces and sharing your stories. This project wouldn’t have been possible without your support and participation. We’re proud to demonstrate how intentional design can cultivate deeper connections, celebrate diversity, and create meaningful experiences that resonate with both locals and visitors alike.

If you’re curious about what Re-Route stands for and how it continues to bring fresh perspectives to Singapore’s most culturally abundant neighbourhoods, visit our website at reroutefest.com as we bring that same spirit to Orchard Road this year.

We are extremely grateful to announce that we clinched the gold award at the Singapore Good Design mark 2024!

This award serves to remind us that though Little India was tough, the rewards for working with the community and bringing joy through our design ethos was important and ultimately successful.
The gold award will always be a bonus upon the many tightly knitted relationships we formed on site.

Thank you to all the partners and design friends who joined us in making the show a success.

Thank you to the judges for giving us the vote of confidence.

Thank you to for once again successfully hosting the Award Gala.

Onward to Re-Route:Orchard!

Throw back.

For easy assembly and disassembly, we needed to create a form that could lock in place without any glue joints or adhesive.
The self locking folds also acts as members to distribute weight across the table top, allowing it to hold up to roughly about 100kg.

Project is in collaboration with Tri-wall Singapore.

Throw back.

Almost 10 years ago, we created this single sheet corrugated cardboard table.
The idea was to create a flat packed table where we could unfold and transport easily.
This was the time frame where flea markets happens pretty often and makeshift tables were in demand but had costly delivery considerations.

Project is in collaboration with Tri-wall Singapore.
For , a design festival.

From mynahs to cats, and landing on the sparrow, exploring how mascots can add onto a precinct’s identity was fun.
The mascot needed to convey a casual vibe that speaks to the audience and at the same time bring out an everyday exploration of heritage as the main neighbourhood anchor, highlighting the content and creating focus and clarity for the communication and intended call to action.

Enjoyed thoroughly the process and defintely how tohe plushie turned out.

Sharing a new project update on our website.
Our methodology in curating experiential design solutions was truly put to the test by the multitude of considerations amplified by a live launch show.
From multimedia to audiences’ circulation and attention, from programme curation to the audience participation of ‘purchasing art’, from the way graphics to artistic direction, we challenged on all these fronts, every aspect was intentionally scrutinised to deliver an evocative show that connects to the audience.
