In the next edition of 'Travel Moments' from the Lightfoot team we're heading to Ranthambore in Northern India with Sophie, Head of Lighfoot Travel in Singapore.
'My husband and I are always on the pursuit for adventurous trips, which offer something out of the ordinary and culturally diverse. For our honeymoon earlier this year, we ventured to Rajasthan, India. One of our all-time highlights was heading into Ranthambore to track the elusive Bengal tigers. One morning, following a sighting of a mother tiger with four cubs, we continued to follow the pawprints of another big cat, to find two leopards relaxing on a large rock just metres away from us. Ranthambore National Park can be a busy place, so to be the only truck watching these leopards was a true 'pinch me' moment. We enjoyed delicious coffee, biscuits and cakes, whilst watching these two leopards, stretch, play and sleep for over an hour. It was magical!'
