We’re beyond stoked to have Ryan, our lead photographer and seasoned BL pioneer, back for his 5th expedition with us; this time to an all-new destination: Madagascar! 🦥🌳🇲🇬 From BL 4, 5, 7, 8… now onto the most beautiful trail in Madagascar, the Makay Trek for BL 9!

Also welcoming back Chun, an environmental defender and a true OG from Beyond Limits 1, where we trekked across the Gobi Desert and raised $72,000 for the Singapore Cancer Society!

Nothing beats seeing smiles, laughter, and unbreakable team spirit as we transition from winter to spring, with frozen lakes and towering peaks setting the perfect backdrop. ❄️🏔️🩵

𝑮𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑯𝒐𝒑𝒆, 𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝑴𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒕 𝒂 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆 🍚😀🇲🇬


In just 48 hours, thanks to a group of incredibly kind-hearted Singaporeans, we have raised SGD 2,288, ensuring that 75 children who previously worked in the brick factory in Madagascar, will receive one meal a day for the next 30 days. 🫶🏻🩷

With the rainy season in full force, their families are unable to work, making it even harder to put food on the table. This small but crucial effort means that these kids will have a warm meal after school each day, giving them the energy to keep learning and growing.

Together, we’re doing more than just providing meals, we’re giving these children the opportunity to stay in school, continue learning, and build a brighter future.

🔥 Survivor Adventure with GIC Singapore at Ubin Island! 🔥

An epic day hosting an incredible team of 29 from GIC Singapore for an unconventional team bonding survivor adventure! 🌿🏝️

Through three intense survival stations, teams tackled fire lighting, wood sawing & chopping, crafting a bushcraft chair, and building natural shelters. The bonus Survivor Phase-Off brought the ultimate challenge, with all three teams neck-and-neck in an intense battle of skills and strategy! 🤭🫣

From sweat and sawdust to flames and teamwork, this experience was all about leadership, communication, and resilience, and these teams absolutely crushed it! 👊🏻💯💥

With perfect weather, an incredible energy, and an unbeatable spirit of adventure, today was nothing short of unforgettable!

You'll explore the breathtaking Makay Massif, a remote and rugged region full of stunning canyons, verdant forests, and unique wildlife. This unique adventure includes 5 days of trekking across diverse terrains, with daily hikes ranging from 4 to 8 hours, offering the chance to witness Madagascar’s rich biodiversity, from lemurs to endemic reptiles. Along the way, you’ll connect with local Malagasy families whose children are benefiting from the educational support funded by this trek, making it a journey of both physical challenge and meaningful contribution. Day 3: The Test of Grit and Altitude 🏔️

On this journey, the mountains don’t just test our endurance—they unveil our resilience. Day 3 saw us navigating through frozen streams, traversing rugged terrains, and pushing through the thin air of higher altitudes. Each step was a deliberate move forward, a testament to the strength within us.

At the summit, we were rewarded with panoramic views of the mighty Himalayas, a moment of quiet triumph. The fluttering prayer flags whispered tales of perseverance, while we stood together, holding the Breast Cancer Foundation flag high—a symbol of the warriors we trek for.

The descent led us to our campsite, where golden hour painted the ridges, and as night fell, we found warmth in crackling campfires and stories under a sky bursting with stars. The journey is tough, but so are we. 💪🏻

Beyond Limits 8 – Day 2: Into the Heights!

Swipe through to witness the journey as we push beyond limits into the high-altitude wilderness of Bhutan!

After a night under the stars at Gur Campsite (3,300m), we set out on a 12 km trek into the heart of the Bhutanese highlands. The crisp mountain air filled our lungs as we left behind the comforts of camp, stepping into the vast unknown.

Through the Meadows & Beyond
The trail wound through sprawling meadows dotted with wildflowers and babbling streams, lulling us into a momentary sense of ease before the real challenge began. Ahead, the formidable Paga Labtsa Pass loomed, marking our toughest ascent yet.

Nature’s Changing Canvas
As we climbed, the landscape morphed into a tapestry of birch and rhododendrons, splashing colors against the rugged backdrop. Every step was a test of endurance, but the reward? A breathtaking panorama of the mighty Mount Kanchenjunga (Sikkim, India) and the majestic Himalayan mountains of Bhutan.

Yak Herders & Hidden Valleys
Descending into the Dagala mountain range, we passed scattered yak herder camps, a testament to life thriving in this remote wilderness. The valley of Labatama soon unfolded before us, its serene beauty heightened by the shimmering Utsho Tsho Lake, home to golden trouts.

A Night at 4,280m
Our weary legs found solace at the Labatama campsite (4,280m), where the sky unveiled an ocean of stars above us. Gathered around the fire, we reflected on the strength it took to reach this point, knowing that each step brought us closer to our purpose—raising awareness for the Breast Cancer Foundation.

Beyond Limits isn’t just about the trek—it’s about resilience, camaraderie, and pushing past the limits we set for ourselves.
