The Day of Arafah holds immense significance in Islam, especially for those not performing Hajj. For Muslims in Singapore, the Day of Arafah falls on 16 June, Sunday. By fasting on this day, we have the opportunity to seek forgiveness for our past sins and start anew with a purified heart and soul.
In the gentle embrace of Zulhijjah, let us humble ourselves before Allah and seek His forgiveness for our shortcomings and transgressions. May our repentance be sincere, and may we emerge purified and uplifted in faith.
It is recommended to increase zikir during the first ten days of Dzulhijjah more than on other days, and it is particularly recommended to engage in zikir on the day of Arafah even more than on the remaining days of these ten.
Let's make the most of the remaining days of Dzulhijjah with good deeds and sincere intentions. โจ

The Night of Power marks the single most important event in the Islamic calendar, the revelation of the Qurโan. Muslims are encouraged to worship intently throughout Ramadan to catch the blessings of the Night of Power. On this night, the reward for worship is better than 1000 months!
It is indicated that it happens during the odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan. On this blessed night, turn to Allah (SWT) with sincerity, and make Duโa from your heart. Laylatul Qadr is also a great time to reflect on our sins and errors and turn to Allah (SWT) for forgiveness while making the intention to improve our conduct and refrain from returning to our sins.

The Jabal al-Nour (ุฌูุจูู ูฑููููููุฑ) literally meaning 'Mountain of the Light', also called Mount Hira (Jabal al-Hira), is a mountain near Mecca in the Hejaz region of Saudi Arabia. The cave of Hira' (ุบูุงุฑ ุญูุฑูุงุก), which holds tremendous significance for Muslims throughout the world, as the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is said to have spent time in this cave meditating, and it is widely believed that it was here that he received his first revelation, which consisted of the first five ayats of Surah al-Alaq from the Angel Jibreel(as).

Also known as Jabal ar-Rahmah, Mount Arafat is located in the southeast of Makkah, Saudi Arabia. On the 9th of Dhul Hajj, Muslim pilgrims leave Mina for Mount Arafat, where they stand and perform a contemplative vigil and recite the Holy Quran. Jabal ar-Rahmah is where the beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH delivered the last sermon to the Muslims who accompanied him for Hajj towards the end of his life.
