We are delighted to have received the Booking.com Traveller Award 2022, yet again!

Thank you to all our wonderful guests who took the time and trouble to write such kind and much appreciated reviews. It was another very tough year for everyone, but your lovely words and warmth certainly raised our spirits. We are so encouraged and cannot wait for a simply fantastic 2022.

We are so proud to announce that we’ve won the Booking.com "Traveller Review Awards 2021", achieving a fantastic score of 8.8 out of 10.

THINGS TO DO IN WINTER: Hike To Mala Osojnica For The Best View Of Lake Bled

While pretty much any spot around Lake Bled offers amazing views to photograph, but if you want to get the picture postcard shot of Lake Bled, with both the island church and the castle all backed by the majestic peaks of the Slovenian Alps, you will have to make a little effort and hike to the Mala Osojnica viewpoint.

The hike to the Mala Osojnica viewpoint is one of the best things to do in Bled. At the top is a great viewing point for photography, and you get a fantastic view of Lake Bled, the island church, and of the hilltop castle.

Starting just beside the little Lake Bled's beach at Zaka, just opposite the boat rental house, it takes about 40 minutes to get to the top.

The tourists are slowly starting to return to Bled after Slovenia reopened its borders. But the streets and walking paths around Lake Bled are still almost empty, giving tourists a unique opportunity to visit and explore Lake Bled without crowds.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
The health and well-being of our guests has always been, and always will be, our primary concern. We have always taken great pride in delivering the highest standards in cleanliness and hygiene and we are very proud of our perfect or almost perfect cleanliness scores on Tripadvisor, Booking, Airbnb, and other travel websites. But cleanliness is even more critical during this time. We’re now using the ECDC (European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control) standards to clean and disinfect our apartments.
These are the measures we are taking to ensure the safety of our guests:
– We make each apartment unavailable for at least one day between guests and all the windows are open the whole day to let in the fresh air.
– All frequently touched surfaces such as light switches, door handles, cabinet handles, electric sockets, faucets, sinks and tables will be disinfected before you check in.
– Remote control for TV will also be disinfected and placed in a sealed plastic bag ready for your use.
– All kitchen cloths provided will be brand new.
– All crockery, cutlery and cookware will be fully checked for cleanliness and re-washed if necessary.
– As standard, the bathroom will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected but particular attention will be taken to areas such as toilet seats.
– Vacuum cleaner bags will be changed after each clean.
– All key safes and keys will be sanitised before every arrival.
– All part-used toilet roll and kitchen roll will be removed after every holiday departure.
– Bed throws, spare blankets and decorative soft furnishings will be removed from all of our apartments.
– Our cleaning lady wears single-use gloves while cleaning and change them after cleaning each apartment.
– We’ll not enter your apartment unless requested during your stay.
– Guests are able to check in and check out without any person-to-person contact.

WE ARE DELIGHTED TO CONFIRM THAT OUR ACCOMMODATION HAS REOPENED WITH NEW COVID-19 MEASURES
After a temporary closure due to the situation around coronavirus (COVID-19), we are delighted to confirm that our accommodation has reopened and we look forward to welcoming you back! We will make sure your stay with us is not only relaxing, but as safe as possible.

With the Coronavirus situation in Slovenia well under control, all accommodations in the country had been given the green light to reopen on June 1st. Slovenia is currently one of the safest countries in Europe to travel to. There are less than ten Covid-19 cases considered to be active in the country and only 12 new infections have been found in the last three weeks, all of which were linked to known cases or outbreaks or imported from abroad.
