The Alpine winter season is off to a promising start, with resorts across France, Austria, and Switzerland reporting substantial early snowfall. With around 30-40 cm already accumulating in key areas, some high-altitude resorts like Kitzsteinhorn glacier near Zell am See-Kaprun area, Hintertuxer Gletscher, Mölltaler Gletscher, Cervinia, Zermatt Matterhorn, and Saas-Fee Tourismus have opened their slopes early to welcome eager skiers.
