Sup Slovenia Discovery

Sardinia beaches, Gargano limestone caves SUPing, Puglia wine - HEAVEN

After a fantastic, week long SUP & Wine Tasting Slovenia tour my (non-SUPing) partner and I did last year with Samo, I was eager to join Samo and his wife Katarina for the Italian Explorers tour earlier this year. This time I went solo since this tour seemed more intense (2wks long, different location every day), and Jerry doesn’t like to spend more than a week out of home. The schedule was perfect for me since I LOVE to experience as much as possible within the time I allocate for my trips.
Why I would recommend travelling with Samo and Katarina:
- prearranged hotels, restaurants, SUPing/swimming locations that they thoroughly researched to provide most local, unique experience. I bet I wouldn’t find those great access points to fantastic paddling locations on my own.
- although itinerary was ready prior to our trip, they were always willing to adjust it based on weather and group’s preference
- something for everyone: while Samo pushed me out of my comfort zone encouraging to paddle choppy, windy waters (highly appreciated afterwards), less adventurous members from our group enjoyed swimming and basking in sunshine on gorgeous Italian beaches
- Samo and Katarina are very experienced paddlers and swimmers. I have never felt unsafe on the water while they were around.
- time together spent driving to new locations and family style meal sharing encouraged stories exchange that bonded us for life
I can’t wait until my next trip with SUP Slovenia Discovery next year. Hope to see everyone in Greece!

Slovenia from the water perspective... one needs to experience this at least once!
Due to increased interest, we added new dates for the Alps to Coast Sup tour and another, 15-day long trip to Greece. Check the 2025 calendar, and find the trip that suits you best.

Stay active and fit even during your time off A moderate physical activity in pure natural surroundings is your key to relax and recharge your body and soul. The daily itinerary includes 2 to 3 hours of paddling and can always be adapted to your preference. Discover places from a new perspective SUP gets you as close to nature as it gets and enables you to explore beautiful sceneries from a different, more pristine and magical perspective.

All our tours are all-inclusive, so you have nothing to worry about once you are here. When you get to Slovenia we take over and make sure you disconnect, relax, recharge and enjoy your SUP holiday to the fullest. We guarantee you will bring home many unforgetable memories to talk about.

Non-supping companions are also welcome on our SUP tours. They can choose between two options: 1) Take a short SUP-learning course with our instructors at our first paddling destination and learn the basics of stand up paddling. In most cases this would suffice for them to safely join the rest of the supping company on the water. 2) The other option is to just accompany you “on land” and use the time when we are on the water (approx 2 hours per day) for many other activities such as relaxing at a massage, hiking, cycling, horse-back riding, sight-seeing, just to name a few. Let us know of their interests and we’ll arrange everything for them to have as exciting and fulfilling holiday as you.
