As the project 'Strengthening Societal Resilience and Countering Foreign Perpetrated Disinformation' is preparing for its in-country visits to the Western Balkans, we think back to the regional capacity-building training we held in Portoroลพ in June. Not only because we had a great time but also because, in drafting the programme, we are taking into account the needs, challenges and opportunities identified by our participants then & there!
We tailor each visit and programme to the local needs and requirements. With the visit to North Macedonia behind us, later this fall we are making our way to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, whereas we will be visiting Albania, Montenegro and Kosovo in the winter.

Big shout out to the female part of the CEP team on #InternationalWomensDay! ๐
At the Centre for European Perspective - CEP, the female part of the team outweighs the male part (just check out the 'Our team' part of our website). We count ourselves lucky and proud to work in a great team that respects and accepts the skills, experiences and perspectives each person brings to the workplace!
One of our biggest endeavours of the passing year were the EUSAIR Communication Academy and Young EUSAIR Communication Academy, which culminated in two three-day EUSAIR communication trainings in Bled.

The Academy was attended by people from EUSAIR countries dealing with the Strategy daily, government communicators, and separately by young participants interested in the EUSAIR.
The Academies were intense, dynamic, and applicable. At the end, the participants left with new skills for effective communication, knowledge of how to better communicate EUSAIR, as well as a bunch of new colleagues.

๐ The Covid-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on our economies, workplaces, daily habits, as well as international relations. It has put a damper on globalization and accentuated global rivalries. It brought with it an increased sense of vulnerability. But as with every crisis, it also ushered in unique opportunities by greatly accelerating digital adoption. The #CEE now has a chance to make a true leap in digital development. This can only be achieved through close regional cooperation ๐ค aimed at fostering digital transformation.
On the 6th of May, the Centre for European Perspective - CEP and the Instytut Koลciuszki organized a joint webinar entitled Transformative Power of Digital to discuss the regionโs digital futureโs economic, security, and geopolitical aspects.
This discussion was moderated by Katja Gerลกak, Executive Director of the Centre for European Perspective, with the opening address by Izabela Albrycht, Chair of the Kosciuszko Institute.
