Hiking in spectacular Julian Alps in Slovenia most surely crosses Slovenes' path. Have you met the locals yet?

I remember travelers being amazed saying all Slovenes are friendly, genuine, tough, proud and fit.
Before I continue, give the photo of the magnificent Julian Alps a close look. Have you noticed anything exceptional about our habitat?

Allow me explain.
Having a home in those mountains is:
- waking up rolling down the hill - no one can conquer it that early in the morning.
- appearing in downtown office looking like your suit meet the biogeochemical cycle - only genuine people will disclose unrepentant friendship.
- bush bashing uphill run home - it's just going home after work
- disconnected from the rest of the world - we use survival skills like talk & listen, light a fire, eat forest strawberries, help each other walk another mile and sometimes fall asleep under the stars.

We'll only take you to the great outdoors to experience mervellous adventures in Slovenia!

Late afternoon hike from Bovec - Zavrzelno - Planina Goričica (1336m) - Čukla (1767m) under Rombon (2208m). Planina is just perfect to crash for a while. :D
