Slovakia's longest river, the Váh, stretches 403 km from its source in the Tatra Mountains, formed by two tributaries – the Black Váh and the White Váh. This majestic river eventually meets the Danube at the Slovak-Hungarian border, but along its journey, it reveals some incredible natural wonders. 🌊

Do you know what has in common Slovakia and the island of Madeira?
on island Madeira used to live a while a queen of Slovakia (in time when Slovakia was a part of Hungarian kingdom) famous wife of emperor Franz Joseph 2. Elizabeth, better known as Sissy, and also for one year until his death in 1921-1922 here lived in exile the last Austro-Hungarian Emperor, Charles 4. with his family. Charles was in 2005 also beatificated by the catholic church. Did you know that the last emperor of Austro-Hungarian Emprire was Charles 4. and not Francz Josep 2?
