The Government of Sierra Leone, through the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority has informed that the supposed $165 tax increase on Travel to and From Freetown International Airport FNA starting 1st Dec, 2023 has been revoked.
In accelerating the gains made so far in the aviation industry, Government has committed to making FNA competitive in ensuring tax reviews thereby turning Freetown Int. Airport the hub for air transportation in the West Africa subregion.

Some exciting news to share!

Here in Accra, have had meetings with some multi-millionaire investors and have laid before them a broad based strategy, mapping out the positive financial potential Sierra Leone have in stuck on areas of tourism and many more. They expressed interest in investing hugely in Sierra Leone’s entertainment, tourism and real estate sectors. In the coming months, they’ll be coming down to Freetown to have first hand experience of our hospitality and the business environment so to be convinced more on investing millions of dollars into these sectors, this will however lead to the creation of jobs and revenue mobilization for government.
