Combat Readiness Program
Combat Readiness describes a state of preparedness to defend oneself based upon an adopted lifestyle of situational awareness, which is centered around personal safety, self defence and assault prevention. This program was developed by Major Sarwan Boodram and has been taught to the military, police and security units since 1981 and civilian groups in Trinidad and Tobago
and within the Caribbean region since 2000. Major Boodram is a highly decorated and experienced master of the martial arts and an inductee of the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Regional Director of Krav Maga Global Caribbean
Training is delivered by Senior Combat Readiness Instructors from Military and Police background who have considerable international experience in this field utilizing Israeli Krav Maga personal defence methods and Reality Based Personal Protection. THE FOUNDER: MAJOR SARWAN BOODRAM
He holds several accolades for achievementS and contributions to survival combat systems training from the Krav Maga GLOBAL, THE ONE ON ONE CONTROL TACTICS SYSTEM the Jim Wagner Reality Based Personal Protection System, and the International Special Forces community. He was awarded the Doctorate in Martial Arts Philosophy by the World Organization of Martial Arts and the University of Delaware, USA. He also has a Master of Sciences Degree in Security and Risk Management with the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He is an accomplished and internationally certified trainer and lecturer and currently is a serving the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force and an executive member of the Special Anti Crime Unit of Trinidad and Tobago. His over twenty eight years of active operational experience in violent and volatile environments in both military and law enforcement arenas places him in high demand for his expertise and services in Combat Readiness internationally.
