SALES AND SERVICE AGENT FULL-TIME POSITION. WORK FROM HOME 🏠
Position Details:
As a Sales and Service Agent (SSA), you will be at the front line of Incredible Adventures market strategy. This includes communicating directly with customers about IA’s full line of products, processing bookings and preparing operational aspects of our tours. SSA’s will consistently use both sales and customer service skills throughout each day and need to possess strong organizational and prioritization abilities for problem-solving time-sensitive issues with confidence and attention to detail. Effective communication over the phone, in person and via email are essential in this position. Successful SSA’s earn commission and receive various industry perks. You will work closely with travel-passionate coworkers in a sustainable driven environment.
Technical Skills:
>Experience with Google Apps (G Suite)
>Experience working with tourism industry reservation booking systems
>Effective communication (phone, email and in person)
>Ability to choose great office music, or if remote, skills in setting up a snazzy we**am atmosphere!
Job Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to:
*A strong ability to identify the product or adventure that best fits the client while keeping sales and budget requirements and the operations of Incredible Adventures in mind.
*Sales and Service Agents are responsible for answering phone calls and taking phone reservations for all of our sightseeing and camping trips.
*Take email reservations from vendors and confirming online reservations with appropriate information.
*Follow up with Sales Leads, Inquiries and any questions that come in via email in a prompt and timely manner.
*Communicate with guides during their trips and relay information to the appropriate person (Operations Manager, Fleet & Safety Manager, etc)
*Preparing trips for the next day by compiling paperwork needed and generating accurate manifests.
*Keeping track of van space availability and move passengers internally or to partner companies as directed.
*Double check all vendor reservations.
*Update the Shift Report - ongoing throughout shift.
*Follow up with guests that do not have pick up times for their tours or that are going camping and have not confirmed diet and sleeping bag needs.
*Attend all required staff meetings
*Accurately and in a timely manner order tour meals and reserve tasting times for passengers.
*Correctly input hotel and campsite information including confirmations, cancellations and rooming lists into the proper allocations sheets.
*Ensure daily, weekly and monthly Muir Woods Permits are secured or cancelled according to bookings.
*Update hotel, campground and attraction allocation sheets from template for the Sales and Service Manager’s review.
*Handle tasks given to you by your supervisor at a high quality as well as meeting deadlines given for those projects.
*Office administration tasks as required.
The schedule can be from 9am to 9pm working 8 hours + 1 lunch hour, 5 days a week for a total of 40 hours a week. Schedule flexibility is required as they are rotating schedules including weekends.
$850 Base Salary. Some of the US holidays are paid leave. Commissions are given on closed bookings and a performance salary review is conducted every year.
