Forest Silver Oak/Umphahla, full bloom and a hive of bees pollinating. The wood is used to make spear shafts. The spearhead is inserted in the shaft red hot. The sap from the shaft mixed with the ash makes a glue that holds the spearhead fast. Copper wire is then used to reenforce the spear.

Good to walk around Manzini and recover some memories from 1972 with Helen Hunter-Thomas and her two boys. The Emporium is the oldest supermarket in Manzini.

Southern Bald Ibis, Geronticus Calvus, Inkondla also called Insingizi.
There are two nesting sites in Swaziland, one at Malolotja. These two breeding pairs are nesting in an undocumented site, KaMbhoke in the Mamba Kingdom. I'm watching to see if the clutch of 4 eggs will bare fruit. The site is unprotected so anything can happen.
