Mbuluzi is a beautiful Game Reserve in the Eastern part of the Kingdom of eSwatini. Guests are free to explore at their own pace and without a guide.

Mbuluzi is a unique Game Reserve; encompassing some of Swaziland's most pristine bush-veld, it has a variety of landscapes and excellent bio-diversity. Located in the Lubombo Escarpment foothills, with two rivers flowing through, Mbuluzi offers a very diverse habitat from rocky ridges to knob-thorn Savannah, to riparian forest. There are five luxury, self-catering lodges. Three lodges accommodati

ng 8 people [4 bedrooms], the other 5 [3 bedrooms], and the Tented Lodge accommodating 6 people [3 en-suite luxury tents]. They are all are fully equipped with everything you would need, including fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, skottle braai and out-door braai [barbecue]area supplied with firewood. Each lodge is privately situated on the Mlawula River, and overnight guests are welcome to fish if they like. The Tented Lodge, Tambuti Tented Lodge and Singwe Lodge have swimming pools. The campsite, situated above some amazing rapids in the Mbuluzi River, has hot showers and firewood is supplied, but there is no electricity. A great setting to really enjoy the bush up close and personal! Bird-watching is very good, with more than 300 species recorded. Many animal species can be seen including Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, Kudu, Nyala, Bushbuck, Waterbuck and Hippo and of course Impala and Warthog. Hyenas are often heard and leopards also occur. There is a good network of game-viewing roads which are well marked for easy navigation. There are also many marked walking trails. Visitors can drive, walk, or cycle around the reserve at their leisure and at their own time; no guides are necessary. Mbuluzi Game Reserve is under an hour’s drive from Manzini and less than two from Nelspruit and Maputo. Roughly 5 hours drive from Johannesburg and Durban. There are a couple of restaurants, golf courses and other sporting facilities fairly close by, and the borders to South Africa [Mananga] and Mozambique [Lomahasha] are within a 20 minute drive.

Intsini Tented Lodge

Looking for something different and outdoorsy Intsini Tented Lodge gives you the nostalgia of camping, but with all the luxuries and conveniences.

Intsini Tented Lodge is an 8-sleeper lodger, with four luxurious tents each providing a king bed, en-suite bathrooms with a lovely bathtub, and a nicely appointed outside shower with warm water and electricity. One of the tents has a king-sized bed and a bunk bed perfect when you are with small children and you do not want them sleeping in a separate tent.

The main thatched lodge is welcoming and well-equipped, and its large stoned deck overlooks the river and a steep rocky mountain face on the opposite banks. It has a covered outdoor sitting area with a stone fireplace for indoor braai/ barbeque. There is also an outside braai area.

Dive into our swimming pool on those hot summer days, which also a perfect spot to chill and relax or you can sit around the fire fire at night with a glass in hand to watch the African stars.

Vovovo Lodge

Named after the lovely big examples of schotia brachypetela trees, Vovovo Lodge is an exclusive Lodge that sleeps a maximum of adults.

It has four en-suite rooms with a bath and shower. Two of them are made as king beds and the other two as twin.

The impressive main Lodge has a fully equipped open kitchen leading into the comfortable lounging area. The covered terrace includes a braii area and a large pool and sunbathing deck.

It is never too late to start teaching the little one's about conservation.

The past week we had a visit from Thembelisha Preparatory School, from grade 0-3. They got lessons from our rangers and Lessons in Conservations about poaching, the threat it poses to our eco system and the importance of conservation. Thank you Thembelisha for a fun and exciting session.

Liphiva Lodge

Liphiva is also known as "Waterbuck"
Liphiva Lodge is a sharing lodge with two cottages, nestled on the bank of Mlawula River. You can enjoy beautiful views as you sit on the deck watching the sunset and the fireflies magically light up along the banks of the river.

Suitable for a couple or two singles, the lodge is self-catering fully equipped. Each lodge has its own kitchenet, bath-tube and an outside shower. It has also has a braai area and a pool to dive in this summer weather.

Imfihlo Lodge

Imfihlo Lodge is an exclusive lodge with a bush retreat, overlooking the Mlawula River and set among a groove of Tambuti trees.

The three bedroom lodge, can accommodate six people and it comprises of a main bedroom with an en-suit bathroom, also with an outside shower, bath-tub and toilet for the nature lovers. The second bedroom has twin beds and an independent bathroom with a guest wing with a queen bed.

The lodge is self catering fully equipped, with a swimming pool and frequent visits from our lovely friends such as the giraffes.

Nkhankanka Lodge

Nkhankanka Lodge is an exclusive lodge in Mbuluzi Game Reserve. It is surrounded by magnificent Leadwood trees, hundreds of years old.

This bush lodge can accommodate a maximum of 8 adults in four bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms (double or twin beds) with two bathrooms are in the main building, the other two specious, air-conditioned bedrooms (double or twin beds) with en-suite bathrooms are in the adjoining building.

All the rooms and the spacious terrace give you a beautiful view of the bush and Mlawula River.

The self-catering lodge offers a fully equipped kitchen, a braai area and an inviting pool to cool down in these hot summer days.

Be sure to be expecting a visit from the Crested Guineafowls (Nkhankanka), Nyala, Warthog and many others.
