Some love stories begin in the most unexpected places. Ours started with a pizza delivery-but its true roots are in Grand Turk, an island where connections run deep and where home always calls you back.
Nearly 38 years ago, my husband-A son of the soil, born in Bambarra, Middle Caicos, and rooted in Grand Turk-answered a call at a Domino’s pizza shop. On the other end of the line was me, placing an order. That single call sparked something neither of us expected. We talked longer than usual, and before we had even met in person, my husband called me every day for two weeks. When we finally met, the connection was undeniable, and we’ve been together ever since.
Our story has always been one of coming full circle-of finding love, building a life, and ultimately returning to the place that shaped us. After years away, we made our way back to Grand Turk, bringing with us the same passion and commitment that first brought us together. Here, we founded Exclusive Escapes Grand Turk, a company built on the same values that define the island itself-warmth, adventure, and genuine connection.
Our journey has been about bridging distances-between people, between past and present, and between the love for home and the excitement of new experiences. Our return to Grand Turk wasn’t just about coming back-it was about giving back, sharing the island’s beauty, and creating something lasting for future generations.
For our family, that one pizza delivery wasn’t just a meal-it was the start of a lifelong partnership, one that led back to the shores of Grand Turk, where love and legacy continue to grow.
