Our 700 square Beachfront Suites have been designed to treat you to a memorable vacation. Reef House is on Pillory Beach. The shallow and deep clear waters (average temp. 84F), make it ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The beach is located in a protected marine park so you can take in the vibrant views and abundant sea life along the reef just offshore. If you love to dive you will love diving in the deep blue waters along the 7000 foot wall. A cooling breeze from the east coast keeps the Beachfront Suites very comfortable most of the time, but there are ceiling fans and air conditioning, so there is always relief from the afternoon and night time heat.

“Reef House” boasts an open concept living space with a direct unobstructed view of the ocean from the living and dining areas. Our well equipped kitchens are designed to make them a great space for cooking and entertaining. You will find a vibrant outdoor living area within the screened-in veranda /porch surrounded by nature. TCI-13 first encountered in 2021 with a calf by Shelley Jensen. We spotted her offshore Grand Turk, near the wall, a few days ago. She is also KP3118 Sea of Whales Adventures and feeds in Trinity Bay, Newfoundland.

Getting matches for your whales is exciting, but getting a match for a whale first seen 46 years ago is even more exciting. Recently, we learned from Happywhale that this individual humpback whale (TCI-313, aka na6005) holds the record for the longest time between the first and last sightings at 45.8 years! Seen in 1977 off Bermuda and in 2023 off the Turks and Caicos Islands. Allied Whale at the College of the Atlantic which curates the North Atlantic Humpback Whale Catalog, provided this image to Happywhale.

We just got a pretty cool match from Happywhale. This is TCI-313 and it was first seen back in 1977 off Bermuda. This individual has also been encountered in Witless Bay during 2006, 2014, and 2017. This is a 46 year old whale!!! 🐋🐋🐋
