Here’s the last bedroom. We changed the orientation of the bed, added some end tables and decorative touches in a calming olive green. Nice big bedroom which also has beautiful built in closets.

Our first guests have come and gone and posted a 5* review on Airbnb! They loved the house but especially loved our amazing property manager, Jasmine.

This is the smaller bedroom on the first floor. The room looks so much nicer now with a little touch of retro inspired colour and those cute night tables and lamps!

Praying for our friends on Salt Cay, Grand Turk, North Caicos, Middle Caicos and Provo. The eye wall passed right over Grand Turk last night and now appears to be right over Middle and North Caicos. Provo is further to the west, but most highly populated. The far east shore of Provo is currently experiencing "negative storm surge" where it appears the ocean has disappeared! It's been sucked into the storm and will rush back suddenly - very dangerous. Hopefully the storm takes the forecasted north turn very soon!

Well, all of our purchases are on the way from Florida to Turks and Caicos. I hope the shipments aren't interrupted by tropical storm Fiona. Looks like a 50-50 chance she will turn into hurricane force winds in TCI. Our property manager is battening down the hatches, just in case. Our first experience of home ownership during a hurricane!

I haven't had much to post in the last few days. I've been making lists of stuff to buy for the house.....everything from beach chairs, towels and umbrellas to dishes, cutlery, pots/pans and glassware to furniture, rugs, decor, etc., etc... Not looking forward to the total when I add all of this stuff to my cart! Need to make final decisions very soon!

No filter required! This is what Turks and Caicos is all about! Crystal clear water, amazing beaches, and quality time with family or friends. Staying a little bit outside of the tourist zone does not hinder your access to it! Get more bang for your buck…a house to yourselves and extra $$ for amazing meals and activities.

Rust and rust stains around the pool…this was a big surprise of the unfortunate kind. It was the first thing our property manager mentioned after she did a walk through when we hired her which was about 6-7 weeks after we toured the house in person (definitely not showing at that time). An obvious “must fix before renting”. Glad to say it has now been fixed but it was a bit of a journey to get there and ended up costing a lot more than initially quoted. Stay tuned for the whole story.

This little beach is less than a 5 minute drive from our house. It’s a lovely beach with great snorkeling and swimming. Very lightly visited - a bit of a hidden gem on Provo!

My husband and I already had a trip to Turks and Caicos planned for April when this house was listed. We stayed on North Caicos for 4 nights and Provo for 5 nights. We had an opportunity to walk through the house in person prior to closing. There were a couple of odd things we saw but overall we were very pleased! In love with the covered patio and the pool.

We put an offer in on this house after a virtual showing in March 2022 (we live in Ontario, Canada). We felt it was necessary at the time - very few properties were being posted for sale in our price range. When they did come up, they were sold very quickly. This is the main picture that sold us! We've rented many places over the years and know the importance of many different outdoor sitting areas...in the shade, in the sun and most importantly, around the pool!
