Togo, like its neighbors in West Africa began the eradication of poverty and the social economic development of the people. Participatory practices and capacity building of grassroots still have a long way to go. USING INTERNATIONAL AFRICA Association, which seeks to develop skills and experience in providing assistance to the poorest populations felt the pressing needs in Togo and in the countrie

s of the sub-region (West Africa). Similarly, the association wants HELP AFRICA INTERNATIONAL organizational capacity of Togo and the countries of West Africa through a number of development activities. Recognizing that NGOs and development associations support communities and contribute to poverty reduction, and as such are becoming an alternative in development strategies and the fight against poverty;
Aware of the needs of the people of Togo and West Africa for the sustainable development of their country, we associations working for assistance to the poor, decided to create an association called HELP AFRICA INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATION (HAIO) pursuant to Act No. 40-484 of 1 July 1901, made applicable by the decree of March 13, 1946, promulgated by the Decree of April 8, 1954 with statutes approved and adopted by the Constituent General Assembly.

Au total, morts et malade confondus, l'OMS fait état de 17 145 cas répertoriés, selon les chiffres arrêtés au 30 novembre.

Depuis mars 2014, une épidémie de la fièvre hémorragique Ebola s’est répandue du sud-est de la Guinée au Libéria, en Sierra Leone, et au Nigéria. Au mois d’août, l’Organisation Mondiale de la Santé (OMS) a déclaré cette épidémie une crise internationale de santé publique et a lancé une expansion rapide des efforts internationaux, régionaux et nationaux pour contrôler la propagation du virus d’Ebola. Plusieurs pays de l’Afrique de l’ouest ont déjà activé des plans d’urgence et des actions visant à limiter les infections. Malheureusement l’ampleur de la crise dépasse de loin les capacités des autorités locales et leurs efforts ne seront pas suffisants pour ralentir la croissance de cette épidémie.
