Truly a beautiful little paradise this is! Having stayed in many places in Thailand, I immediately felt that this was where I wanted to be. If my wife would let me sit still, I would just sit on the second floor and look out at the well-manicured grounds and river all day. What a view to help de-stress and let your inner calm return. Lovely wood floors, furniture, and so much space. Everything is quality: huge rooms, large clean bathrooms and plenty of amenities that westerners will appreciate. Great food is easy to find at the local markets. The nearby golf course was almost all to ourselves the two days we went. The hosts are wonderful people and will make your stay easy and enjoyable. This place is certainly a gem off the beaten path.

The world's most spoiled dogs loves to be driven around in the garden.

One of my new favourite things to do at The Bantak House is to get a drink and go to the river sala at dusk to watch flocks of birds leaving their feeding grounds and head back home. They just keep coming. Relaxing and beautiful to watch.
