Maya Bay and nearby areas closed to visitors until 30 September 2024

Hat Noppharat Thara – Mu Ko Phi Phi in Krabi Province has announced the seasonal closure of Maya Bay, Loh Sama Bay, and Lor Kor Bay from 1 August to 30 September 2024. This annual closure is for the safety of tourists during the rainy season and to allow nature to rehabilitate itself.

Maya Bay is the home of numerous species of marine animals, including blacktip reef sharks. According to the survey of the Marine National Park Operation Center 3 Trang, a total of 92 blacktip reef sharks were found in the area in June 2024. To preserve these sharks and other wildlife, including the plant life, it is necessary to give them a “holiday,” as well.

Yet another awesome resort on Tubkeak Beach Krabi

Tubkeak Sunset Beach resort staying in the Garden View Villa

Awesome view of both pools, which both have pool access rooms.

The balconies are large with a large day bed to chill on

The rooms are spacious, super comfy bed and a great supply of plug sockets! :)

The bathroom is awesome with a large deep bath, and a rain shower (awesome when raining)

The grounds are ammacukate with a stream running through the grounds from the mountains behind

The breakfast is totally awesome, so much to choose from . See images below

The view from the breakfast restaurant is amazing . I was super impressed with the breakfast .

The beach is awesome and shared with 5star hotels - Amari Resort, Tubkeak Boutique Resort , Banyan Tree and around the Bay , Ritz Carlton

Tubkeak beach and Koh Kwang beach are my new favourite Krabi spots to be

Magical places to visit around Southern Thailand.

Samet Nangshe Viewpoint is the most magical place in Thailand, and I have visited it throughout my years of living here.

Located in Phang Nga province it's easily visited if staying in Phuket.

The most amazing time to capture the best from Samet Nangshe is to stay overnight and experience the sunrise.

Every hair on my body was alert at the spectacular setting ( see the images attached.

Thailand has much to offer, book yourself an adventure and explore more of Thailand folks!

FYI: Coming soon Elephant Sanctuary

Following lots of requests from customers visiting Krabi wanting to know the best sanctuary we will carry out 3 inspections.

July 24th we will be carrying out an Inspection of Krabi Elephant Green to ensure they comply with the standards of an Ethical Elephant Sanctuary.

This sanctuary comes highly rated therefore following our inspection we shall add this to our Tour options in Krabi .

Whenever we are in Krabi we also stop at this cool noodle soup restaurant

A large variety of soups to choose from but also see other Thai dishes

The noodle soups are yum and at a great price for the size

It's a cool set up as well and a pond that runs through it

Resort Inspection - Nakamanda Beach Resort & Spa

Stunning resort , on a picturesque beach location Koh Kwang beach.

The resort has only bungalow villas with either garden view or seaview

We stayed in the Sala Villa Seaview which had the most amazing views

The villa was spacious , outside bath , large bathroom with separate sinks and wardrobes for ladies &.gents

Plenty of comfortable seating internally and externally around the villa.

The pool almost feels like a large pond sounded with a tall granite wall.

The prices in the restaurant are very reasonable for a luxury resort

220 THB Massaman curry and Thai curry with Seafood 270 THB

The bungalows are built in the hills therefore they're all at different levels

An altogether excellent resort

Close by plenty of shops, restaurants/ bars and Krabi only beach club The Beach Krabi

Resort Inspection - Tubkaak Resort Krabi

An absolutely stunning small resort with only 56 bungalows

They have 9 different room styles, some they have only 1 of so unique in their design

They have only one family room , and no connecting bungalows therefore suitable for families with young children

The Resort is Eco friendly and throughout the grounds water from the mountains behind run through the property

There is amazing spa rooms , with a very unique design. See below

They offer free bicycles for a 2 hour duration and Hong Island boat tours

Kayaking ect is free for guests

The beach location is fabulous with views of Hong Island and Phi Phi in the distance

The resort shares the beach with the Amari resort, the Banyan Tree, making it the ultimate location

Tubkaak Resort is located within the National Park, therefore within a short walk you're at the park to take the hike up to Dragons Best

My first hotel inspection yesterday was at Beyond Krabi

Located on Koh Kwang Beach , a stunning picturesque beach

The resort offers five varieties of room styles.

I found it an easy resort to get around and every room seemed close by to the pool and beach

The restaurants are large with a bar/restaurant in addition to the main restaurant

For me the best part is the pool and beach area.

An altogether excellent family resort

Jetstar Asia has unveiled a new addition to its flight network, launching a route from Singapore to Krabi, a popular resort destination in southern Thailand. This new route, introduced on June 7, 2024, adds over 60,000 seats annually, enhancing travel connectivity between the two destinations.

Beyond Krabi is set on a beautiful bay where Klong Muang Baech ends and Koh Kwang starts.

The pool area is fantastic with a little shack bar close by the beach.
