Only a short walk to a unmaintained trail to the top of Naga peak, we're off to try out this trail for ourself very soon. We'll have to bring some big machetes to make the trail!

Another view of the bedrock BBQ, the living roof grew in fast and strong but it's only planted in 10cm of soil so we need to make sure it's got water at all times. BBQ in the jungle!

A better detailed shot showing the broken tile mosaic floor design. The bamboo planter was Nastia's idea, looks awesome with that bright yellow bamboo accenting the pearly white room, way to go Babe!

The living room, pretty much the maximum for domed rooms you want to built at 7.5 meters in dimeter. Plenty of space to move around, move the table to the side and you've got yourself a dance floor ready to rock and roll!

Not really sure what to say, indoor kitchen? outdoor kitchen? I'm leaning more towards outdoor kitchen. the garden is on the other side of the countertop, we just need to finish planting the herb garden so seasoning dishes is only an arms length away.

Luckily when we were just finishing up the roof a neighbour had some wood which he wanted to sell and seeing as we needed to get some tables it was perfect timing! A little bit of sanding and routing will go a long way when you're working with old knotty wood!

One of our mascots, Lily. If you were going to ask HE is a boy, our daughter wouldn't accept his gender and insisted he was a girl and her name was Lily. knowing who wears the pants in this house the name Lily stuck, but the gender could not. Now we've got a boy named Lily! Welcome to our home Lily!!!

The bathroom shared by all had it's floor design inspired by the broken tile mosaics of Ancient Greece and Rome. We are no great artists but we tried our best to create the shape of a tree winding it's way through the tiles. a fun but time consuming project!

Welcome to the bedrock, sometimes we think it should be called Bedrock cave. The domes hallways were built by a mixture of earth bag construction and ferrocement. In the end earthen paint was applied to the walls and an earthen floor was built up to walk over.

The first photo of inside the Bedrock, of course the master bedroom naturally has to be the first photo we post. The reciprocal roof ceiling support was an amazing simple yet super effective means to build a functional domed ceiling which allows for added ventilation and heat exhaust. Reciprocal roofs can be built from a range of materials and we highly recommend them as they are simple, logical and look cool.

Seeing we need water circulation in the pool, we figured why not elevate the water inflow and create a waterfall to enjoy the sounds of the pool talking, overall not that difficult to do and we recommend others do the same.

It took us quite some time to get the pool clean and operational but what in life worth doing is easy and simple! Now the saltwater pool is up and running, nothingnesses the only challenge is keeping the frogs out...
