JAMES BOND ISLAND TOUR WITH ELEPHANT BATHING

James Bond Island Tour – This one-day tour takes you to the famous James Bond island. Pickups start at 8:00 and you should be back in your hotel by 17:00 in the afternoon. WHAT TO EXPECT ON THIS TOUR
We start this day trip with a pickup by air-conditioned minivan from your hotel or villa in Krabi, Ao Nang, or surroundings. Our first stop is the pier in Phang Nga Bay, which is a 1,5-hour drive depending on your location. On arrival, we board a traditional Thai longtail boat that takes us to James Bond island. This island became famous in 1974 when Roger Moore made landfall next to the characteristic limestone spike in the James Bond movie. These days it’s referred to as James Bond island. Here you can do some sightseeing or just relax and take pictures from the beach. Swimming is also possible here.

Our next stop is Khao Ping Gan, which is amazing for its sightseeing over the steep shores. View the karts rock formations and all kinds of tropical plants and trees here. Then we head back to Phang Nga bay, where you can have a look at the mangrove forests that surround the bay.

Hungry yet? It’s time to head to Koh Panyee, which is a floating fishermen's village. Here we have a Thai lunch (vegetarian options available) next to the fishermen who still live the same life as they did hundreds of years ago.

When we’re rejuvenated, it’s time to head to the elephant camp on the mainland. Swim and bathe with the elephants here, or have a look at them from the shore. The elephants are well taken care of and are playful as you will see!

Those entering Thailand will be required to show proof that they're vaccinated or COVID-19 test results instead.

Entry Measures into Thailand by Air travel✈️
📌 From 1 June 2022, travelers entering Thailand by air will be subject to new entry measures, as follows:
🔴 1. Fully Vaccinated Persons must :
- Register on Thailand Pass website
- Attach required documents including passport, certificate of vaccination
- Attach proof of insurance with at least 10,000 USD coverage for medical treatments in Thailand (for non-Thais only)
(COVID-19 test, both prior to and after arriving in Thailand, is no longer required)
🔴 2. Unvaccinated Persons
🔸 (Option 1 - Exemption from quarantine) Travelers with a negative RT-PCR or PRO ATK test result issued within 72 hours before traveling must :
- Register on Thailand Pass website
- Attach required documents including passport, and COVID-19 RT-PCR test result issued within 72 hours before traveling (must attach on Thailand Pass only)
- Attach proof of insurance with at least 10,000 USD coverage for medical treatments in Thailand (for non-Thais only)
(Any COVID-19 test after arriving in Thailand is not required)
PLEASE NOTE Travelers who have been approved to enter Thailand under AQ scheme but wish to enter Thailand under exemption from quarantine must re-apply on Thailand Pass.
🔸(Option 2 - Quarantine) Travelers who cannot undergo an RT-PCR test result within 72 hours before traveling or wish to be quarantined must :
- Register on Thailand Pass
- Attach required documents including passport, Alternative Quarantine (AQ) hotel confirmation for 5 days (including 1 RT-PCR test)
- Attach proof of insurance with at least 10,000 USD coverage for medical treatments in Thailand (for non-Thais only)
- undergo an PRO ATK test on arrival(in Thailand). If the result is positive - follow measures of Ministry of Public health. If negative - normal entrance.
PLEASE NOTE Travelers whose Thailand Pass have already been issued can travel with the issued QR Code and do not need to register for new Thailand Pass.

🤩 TO EXPECT ON THIS TOUR
The tour starts with a pickup by air-conditioned minivan from your hotel. The pickups are between 07:45 and 09:15, depending on your location. We will send you a booking voucher with more accurate timing once you made the booking with us. Our first stop of the day is the Tiger cave temple. Here you can spend time in the cave, which is surrounded by monkeys. If you want you can feed them (please use the natural foods for sale here). Take a look inside the temple and if you feel fit, walk the 1237 steps to the top. From here you will have an amazing view over the mainland of Krabi. Sometimes the giant Buddha looks out over the clouds. Still it’s an amazing view: if you feel like it, we definitely recommend it.

Our next stop is the Hot spring waterfall. The fresh water in the springs is naturally heated by the earth below and can reach a temperature of around 38-40 degrees, depending on the season. Get into one of the naturally formed baths to relax completely. The stream below the waterfall is not as hot, which you can use to cool down.

We enjoy a Thai buffet lunch at one of the restaurants nearby. Enjoy a delicious mix of traditional Thai foods. Vegetarian and halal options are available as well. When we feel rejuvenated, it’s time for our final stop of the day: the Emerald pool.

The Emerald Pool is a crystal clear naturally formed lake. The water is nice and cool if you visit outside of the hot season, but the location makes it extra special. The pool lies in the middle of a dense forest and a little hike is necessary to reach it. Once there you can jump in and swim around or climb up the mountain to see the Blue lagoon. An amazing photo opportunity, especially during the non-rainy seasons!

20 May 2022-- An update from the Thai government regarding Thailand's situation, reporting from the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA)
Highlights;
News of relaxed measures
- As COVID-19 is now entering its endemic phase in Thailand, The Ministry of Public Health has issued a new set of recommendations on public health measures for those who are not considered “high-risk contacts”. Whereas a self-quarantine of 10 days was previously recommended for people who are not considered to be high-risk, it is now adjusted to a self-monitoring period of 10 days without having to quarantine.
- The endemic designation does not mean the disease is no longer dangerous. The government will continue to ensure the healthcare system remains capable of handling emergency situation.
- The reopening of nightclubs, bars, and karaoke venues has been approved.
- The use of the emergency Decree on Public Administration in Emergency Situation will be extended for another two months from 1 June to 31 July with all the necessary public health measures to stem the spread of COVID-19 remaining in place until such time that COVID enters into endemic phase as determined by the competent public health authorities.
Adjustment on provinces zoning
- Changes to the zoning of the provinces will go into effect on 1 June 2022
- The number of provinces designated “yellow” or “High Surveillance” zones will decline from 65 to 46
- The number of provinces designated “green” or “Surveillance” zones will go up to 14.
- The number of provinces designated “blue” or “Pilot Tourism” zones will go up from 12 to 17, while 12 other provinces.
- The “Pilot Tourism” zones will be encouraged to implement prevention measures similar to those adopted in “Surveillance” zones.
Changes in requirements for entering Thailand
- The entry requirements for travelers coming to Thailand will be adjusted beginning on 1 June 2022 including the registration for Thailand Pass, which has been made simpler and more convenient.
- As of 1 June 2022, foreign travelers coming to Thailand will only need to provide the following information:
1) COVID-19 vaccination certificates or COVID-19 test results;
2) a minimum of 10,000 USD equivalent of travel insurance that covers medical expenses related to COVID-19; and
3) copy of a valid passport.
- The Thailand Pass QR code will be auto-generated immediately after registration. Airlines are required to pre-check for Thailand Pass QR code prior to issuing boarding pass to travelers coming to Thailand. Once they arrive in Thailand, travelers are required to go through health screening process at the airport.
Thailand Pass Progress and Statistics
- Starting June 1, Thai nationals will no longer be required to register for Thailand Pass. Thailand Pass will next month function as a pre-arrival registration, not an approval system.
- Foreign visitors need to make sure they upload correct documents and carry them in case they are required to show the documents for verification.
- After the registration on Thailand Pass, a QR code will be auto-generated and issued instantly. Foreign travellers need to provide the QR code received to officers on arrival.
- Until the revised Thailand Pass measure takes effect on 1 June 2022, Thais and foreign visitors are still required to register with Thailand Pass and seek approval from the system.
- Travelers coming to Thailand before the beginning of June still need to adhere to the same entry requirements as announced earlier. Under the current mandatory measure, Unvaccinated and partially travelers who wish not to be quarantined must undergo an RT-PCR test before departure.
- The adjusted entry requirements for travelers coming to Thailand --- namely proof of vaccination and travel insurance of at least 10,000 USD, and RT-PCR test for those not fully vaccinated --- and are in line with public health measures and practices in the Southeast Asian region.
A case in point is Singapore where fully vaccinated travelers need to:
1) proof of vaccination;
2) arrival card; and
3) the installation of Trace Together application prior to arriving in Singapore.
Another country is Malaysia where non-fully vaccinated travelers are required to undergo RT-PCR test or RTK- Antigen within 48 hours prior to travelling to Malaysia, and fully vaccinated travelers need to install the MySejahtera application and verify their digital COVID 19 vaccine certificates on MySafeTravel. They will then be issued with a Digital Traveler’s Card on the MySajehtera application.

HOT SPRING WATERFALL AND EMERALD POOL HALF DAY TOUR

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THIS TOUR
This tour starts with a pickup by air-conditioned van at around 8:00 in the morning. The ride takes about 45 minutes and our first stop is the hot spring waterfall, where you can have a nice and warm dip in the water.
Located south of Krabi and around 70 km from town you can find nature’s own hot-tub jacuzzis. The water here comes from thermal springs. Deep underground there are volcanic chambers that heat up the water on the surface. The hot springs are located in the jungle. The ‘bathtubs’ were formed in smooth stone, filled up with fresh running spring water at a pleasant 35-42C. When you get out, it’s nice to have a dip in the colder river below.
From the waterfall, it’s a short ride to the Emerald pool. The pool can be reached by a network of trails through the jungle, which is around 1 kilometer. On the way, you can have a glimpse into the unique water ecosystem, which is fed by the spring water. You’ll pass a number of clear small pools, streams, and waterfalls. Have a look at the beautiful species of tropical plants and trees as well!
On arrival at the Emerald pool, you can have a swim or just admire the stunning surroundings. The water can be a bit chilly during the rainy season, but it’s usually a nice and cool dip to cool you down on a hot day.
The half-day tour ends with a transfer back to your hotel at around 12:30. You should be back in your hotel by 15:00.

7 ISLAND TOUR WITH BEACH DINNER FROM KRABI

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THIS TOUR
This packed tour starts with a pickup at around 12:00 at your hotel. Our pickup team meets you at your hotel and takes you to Ao Nam Mao pier, where our big boat awaits. We put on our lifejackets (for your own safety) and head to our first stop: Taming island. This is the first snorkeling stop of this trip. The waters are crystal clear and the surroundings are beautiful. A 300 meter high cliff towers out of the water for the perfect picture background.

Our next stop is Puya bay. Here you can relax on the beach and view the natural surroundings. Then we move on to our next stop: Chicken island. This characteristic rock is a nice photo opportunity and the waters are great for snorkeling and exploring the marine life. The reefs are pretty good as well, so just jump in and enjoy. Naturally, we provide the masks and snorkels.

Our next stop is Tup island. Here you can explore the little island and with the right tide, you can walk on the sandbank to Chicken island. The beach is surrounded by water on two sides: a beautiful picture awaits! Relax on the beach before we head on to our next island: Poda.

On Poda island you can again explore the beautiful reefs and fish below. Try to find Nemo or relax on the white sandy beach. The longtail boat then takes us to Phra Nang cave and Railay Beach, two of the most famous destinations around Krabi and Ao Nang. You can enjoy some beach sports here or just watch the sun go down. Are you hungy yet? We are! It’s time to light the Dinner and enjoy a great selection of seafood or other (halal and/or vegetarian) dishes on the beach. SWIMMING WITH PLANKTON
Then it’s time for one of the last adventures of the day: swimming with fluorescent plankton (weather dependent). These little creatures light up in the dark, which is nothing less but a fairytale. Snorkel around for a while before we head to the last stop of the day: a fire show on the beach. Our trained fire jugglers give away an amazing show. A great end to the day. We should be back at Ao Nam Mao pier by 20:00, from where our hotel transfer service brings you back to your hotel in Krabi or Ao Nang.
