New journey (Eco-Tourism)

Ko Por is a small island located in front of the Koh Lanta Yai Old Town Pier. Mostly of the 500 residents are Muslims who support themselves through agriculture and fishing.

At Koh Por there are about three beaches and the biggest one is on the southwest of the island, near the pier.

So, this a place for people who won’t to Party but want to have fun and get in touch with the local People. There are not yet have resort on this small island but it is a lovely, you can enjoy life with a local homestay, quiet space with beautiful beaches.

Koh Lanta National Park entrance fees are 200 Baht for adults and 100 Baht for children 3-14 years old.

Park opening times are 8.30 am to 5.30 pm daily. Most of the smaller islands are closed for visitors in the rainy seasons from 16th May until 14th October every year.

Plants and wildlife. Forest and plant species include beach forests, mangrove forests, evergreen forests, dry evergreen forests, scrub forests, and grasslands. The species include sea pine, sea pine, splayed ear, sea jig, sea yee, thong lang pa, mangrove, and sedge, Lumpo, Takian, mango, santol, red moon, saladai, chanpha, rubberwood, Krabak, etc.

Wild animals found are mostly small animals, such as wild boars, deer, monkeys, squirrels, chipmu.

World’s best beach 🏝

The island Koh Kradan has 2 amazing beaches. The main beach, here you will find on a length of about 1.5 kilometers a gorgeous white sandy beach and almost unbelievably turquoise blue sea, you will see the offshore coral reef out of the water!

The Sunset Beach is another wonderful beach on Koh Kradan, located directly across from the main beach make jungle trail about 15 minutes, on the other side of the island.

The best travel time to visit Koh Kradan is from November to the end of April. During this time, you can expect fantastic weather and hardly any rain.
