🚨 BREAKING: It was agreed at the CCSA meeting today that vaccinated visitors will no longer need to be tested by RT-PCR. A self-ATK test is only recommended during their stay. They do not need to book a hotel. Insurance is reduced to $10,000. Thailand Pass remains to verify insurance and vaccination status but will be much quicker. Un-Vaccinated people still need a hotel booking and do RT-PCR TEST on Day 5. Expected to start on 1 May.

More updates at the press conference.

Starting in March, the requirement for the 2nd RT-PCR test on Day 5 will be dropped and replaced with a self-ATK test. In addition, the insurance will be reduced to $20,000.

UPDATES: You can register with the new rules from 1st March onwards. Which means fly to Thailand on 7 March onwards.
📌 Only book one night SHA++ hotel while waiting for results
📌 Only book one RT-PCR test
📌 Minimum insurance reduced from $50,000 to $20,000

🔴 #ด่วน!!! ‼️ยกเลิก Test & Go ทั้งหมด
📢 ประกาศกรมการกงสุล : ระบบ Thailand Pass จะปิดรับการลงทะเบียน สำหรับการเข้าประเทศไทย แบบ Test & Go ทั้งหมด และการเข้าประเทศไทยแบบ Sandbox ยกเว้น จังหวัดภูเก็ต (เป็นการชั่วคราว) ตั้งแต่วันที่ 22 ธันวาคม 2564 เวลา 00.00 น. เป็นต้นไปจนกว่าจะมีการเปลี่ยนแปลง

🔺 "ผู้ที่ลงทะเบียนแล้ว" จะต้องปฏิบัติตามแนวทาง ดังนี้ 🔺

1️⃣ คนที่ลงทะเบียนแล้วและได้รับอนุมัติสามารถเดินทางเข้าประเทศไทยได้ตามมาตรการที่ได้รับอนุมัติ

2️⃣ ผู้ที่ลงทะเบียนแล้ว และกำลังรอการพิจารณาขอให้รอการพิจารณา Thailand Pass QR Code หากได้รับอนุมัติจะเดินทางเข้าประเทศไทยได้ตามมาตรการที่ได้รับอนุมัติ

3️⃣ ผู้ที่จะเดินทางเข้าประเทศไทยในรูปแบบการกักตัว (AQ) และรูปแบบ Sandbox ในพื้นที่จังหวัดภูเก็ตสามารถลงทะเบียนได้ตามปกติ

4️⃣ ผู้ที่เดินทางเข้าประเทศไทยแล้วหรือได้รับอนุมัติให้เดินทางเข้าประเทศไทยในรูปแบบ Test & Go และ Sandbox จะต้องเข้ารับการตรวจเชื้อครั้งที่ 2 โดยวิธี RT-PCR (จากเดิม ATK) ณ สถานที่ที่ทางราชการกำหนดโดยไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่าย

📢 Announcement:

Thailand Pass will be closed for all new Test and Go and Sandbox applications (except Phuket Sandbox), starting from 00.00 hrs. on 22 December 2021 until further notice.

🔺 New measures apply for all applicants on Thailand Pass, as follows; 🔺

1️⃣ Applicants who have received their Thailand Pass QR Code can enter Thailand under the scheme they have registered.

2️⃣ Applicants who have registered, but have not received their QR Code must wait for their Thailand Pass to be considered / approved. Once approved, they can enter Thailand under the scheme they have registered.

3️⃣ New applicants will not be able to register for Test and Go and Sandbox measures (except Phuket Sandbox). Thailand Pass will only accept new applicants seeking to enter Thailand under Alternative Quarantine (AQ) or Phuket Sandbox only.

4️⃣ Passengers who have arrived in Thailand or will arrive in Thailand under Test and Go and Sandbox Programme must undergo their 2nd COVID-19 test using the RT-PCR technique (not ATK self-test) at government-designated facilities (no additional cost).
