Trying out the reduced time train schedule for Bangkok to Hua Hin.

What used to be a 5-hour journey from Bangkok to Hua Hin is now only 3 hours (on selected trains) because of the new dual track, so I thought I'd try it out ...

Train #43 departed Bangsue Grand Station for Hua Hin on time at 07.30 hrs. sharp. Estimated arrival time in Hua Hin is 10.31 hrs. In the past this journey would take almost 5 hour's.
