Strict alcohol laws could be amended in Thailand??

BREAKING: PM Paetongtarn Shinawatra on Tuesday instructed that a feasibility study be carried out to amend the laws to enable the sales of alcohol on Buddhist holidays, and between 2pm and 5pm, in order to boost tourism revenue. The move, if approved, will be in line with this year's tourism campaign under the slogan: "Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year."

- Fruit and Lager fest by and at Underdog Micro Brewery; promising BEER & music & food. Out towards Bang Na.
- Sick Brew Heads music and beer fest/event at Mr.Fox Live House.

For the lovers and users of RateBeer: it looks like it is coming to an end under the hands of the world's largest brewing company: AB-INBEV.
- remember when they bought RateBeer and promised to make it bigger and better and for more people? Almost like the large brewing companies do not have the consumer's best interest in mind.

RateBeer has been online since 2000 and built a community out of nothing. But now it's coming to an end.

Sato is a fermented sticky-rice drink of the people; is it the next big thing for drinkers to find in Bangkok?
With the recent release of the sato article in Craft Beer and Brewing, the Bangkok Beer Guide wants to point out a number of places to try some sato, like:
MASH craft brews & bites, Suad.bar, and Warehouse Bar by Jaang Craft Beer. Also look for it at Beer People Fest by Beer People.
Producers include an in-house producer at Jaang, but also made by Devanom and Mr. Sato (not on Facebook, as far as we could tell....)
