Wat Arun, temple of dawn, is a buddhist temple in Bangkok, Thailand.Locating in on the Thonburi west bank of the Chao Phraya River, Wat Arun can be accessed by ferries or boat with admission fee of 100 bahts for foreigners. Thatien is a pier which is across from the river side of wat arun.
Tha Tian Market is one of famous ordinary community market, located next to Wat Pho, by Chao Phraya River. Wat pho is also the most attractive and most visited temple where you shouldn’t miss. You can have a coconut ice cream around there and there are many thai food restaurant by the the river where you can get tasty food and good vibes.

Wat Chana Songkhram is an ancient temple since the Ayutthaya period. It was originally called 'Wat Klang Na' because in the past around the temple was a vast field. Later, in the period of His Majesty King Buddha Yodfa Chulalok the Great, King Rama I, the Department of Palace, Bowon Maha Surasinghanat. His Highness restored the whole monastery and changed the name of the temple to 'Wat Tongpu'.

Which the reason for the name of this temple that Tongpu Temple has 2 currents. The first stream said that the name Tongpu is from 'Tongpu Village', the village of the Mon people in Hongsawadee, later these people migrated to settle in the temple area. But another stream said that it came from the name 'Tongpu Temple', Phra Raman Temple in the Ayutthaya period. Which comes from the reign of King Rama 1, the King for Phra Nakhon By allowing the monks to come to this temple

But no matter where it came from Later, after the war, won Myanmar 3 times since the Nine Army War. Prof. 2328 The War of Tha Din Daeng and Sam Sor Por. Prof. 2329 and the Pa Sang War, Lampang City, B.E. Prof. 2330 His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Chulalongkorn the Great, therefore graciously bestowed the name of this new temple as 'Wat Chai Chana Songkhram', but later cut only 'Wat Chana Songkhram' and used until now.
