We searched far and wide for the best meat available in Thailand and have found it courtesy of our friends at the Accidental Butcher in Bangkok. Trying out some new dishes for our Caymus wine dinner June 14th here at Napa on 26. Duck breast, candied plums, "jasberry" thai wild rice, and pulled duck confit. Paired with the Belle "Clark & Telephone" Pinot Noir from Caymus Wines. Come in and try for yourself!

Napa on 26 is pleased to announce two guest chef dinners next week on the 1st and 3rd of May at our restaurant featuring Chef Pere Massana from Spain and highlighting the cava of Freixenet. Both events are 3800 THB net for the food and wine tasting. Please book now as limited seating is available.

Pere Massana has been chef de cuisine at his family’s restaurant, Cal Pere de Maset, in the small Catalan town of Sant Pau D’Ordal since 2005; before that he was assistant chef and then chef at Drolma and Via Veneto, two Michelin starred restaurants in Barcelona. Opened in 1969, the focus at Cal Pere de Maset is on seasonal cuisine with a traditional flavour. The restaurant is about 45 minutes from downtown Barcelona and offers a peaceful haven for lunch. Pere will bring the flavors and tastes of Catalunya to Bangkok for a few special days at Napa on 26. Please join us for a glass or two of cava and enjoy the exotic flavors of his typically Catalan dishes created especially to enhance this selection of Freixenet sparkling wines.

We had a great time last night at the annual Thailand Tatler Best Restaurants Awards ceremony where we received our award for the fourth year in a row. It was a great event and we are proud to be among the top restaurants in Thailand!

As the weather starts to warm up and spring is almost upon us come in and enjoy our new bar menu at Napa on 26. Truffle and parmesan popcorn popped to order, house cured salmon bruschetta and lobster mac 'n' cheese to name a few. We also have great happy hour specials and wine by the glass promotions. We hope you all enjoyed our Spanish Wine Dinner last Wednesday featuring the wines of Marques de Murrieta. We poured some great vintages and the kitchen really enjoyed cooking some Spanish food for an evening here at Napa on 26. A big thank you to Ivan Aquino for attending and going into great detail about these splendid wines from the Rioja region of Spain. We hope to see you all out for next month's wine dinner!

Join us for our Spanish Wine Dinner here at Napa on 26 on February the 19th at 7pm. We will be featuring the fabulous wines of Marques de Murrieta from the Rioja region of Spain. We are pouring the 2004 and 2005 vintages of Reserva and Gran Reserva which are world renowned for being some of the best vintages ever to come out of this region! What a pleasure to have Grgich Hills Estate Winery here at Napa on 26 last night. Thanks for a successful event and providing some fabulous wines. Our favorite pairings - confit salmon and chorizo with the 2005 Merlot and the kurobuta pork loin with the 2005 Zinfandel. We hope to see you all for our wine dinner next month here at Napa on 26.

Smoked salmon, cucumber, baby mesclun, salmon roe, and horseradish. Followed by California sea urchin, angel hair pasta, piment d'esplette, and oscietra caviar. All paired with some delicious California wines!
