Explore the amazing outskirts of Bangkok!
We will climb the tail of the pink dragon at Wat Sam Phran – all the way up to “heaven”!🐉
Marvel at Wat Phra Patom Chedi, which is the landmark of this province, and truly a majestic temple 🙏🏽
Patom Organic village is an amazing farm, where visitors can immerse themselves in activities such as rice growing, making their own body scrub or organic tooth paste or maybe a bit of tie dying. The place also holds a green organic market, where farmers from the nearby area are selling vegetables, fruits, rice, sweet palm juice, coconut ice cream and so much more – indulge in all the local deliciousness and make sure to bring a bit of fresh food back to Bangkok. 🌾🥬🌶🍍
We will visit Uncle Vit and explore his coconut farm - join him on his little boat to find some good, fresh coconuts 🌴🥥

You will be picked up at your home/hotel in the morning and we will drop you of at the same place afternoon/evening. We recommend that we go as early as possible, but very much up to you and your morning routine.

MIGHT BE THE COOLEST PLACE TO Zzzzzz IN BANGKOK ! 🙏🏽

As always, happy to share some of our personal favorites..... and this little hotel/guesthouse is definitely one of them. 💜🩷🧡
It is located in a very charming neighborhood with a local and artsy vibe - and right next to the river, on the river, actually.
It's a wooden-stilt house, and the owner, Khun C, knows how to decorate and has created the most quirky and homey little place. The few rooms are all different in size and design - breakfast is homemade and served with a riverview. 🍳🍉🍍
Sundowner-🍸🍹 are well-made, and both Khun C and the staff are wonderful at taking care of their guests.

We like it! 😁

~ HAPPY NEWS ~
We have long wanted to offer our travellers good and caring souvenirs from Thailand! 💜💚🧡

WHY?
Well, honestly, there is a lot of mass-produced crap out there (sorry, my language), but there is 😅 - and we wanted to create a platform for our conscious travellers, where they can easily get a few good things. For themselves - or for their loved ones back home.

THINGS THAT:
♡ support local economy (quite a complex subject - we will share much more later on)
♡ are made from good materials
♡ will serve as a good memory of your travels or bring joy to your people back home
It's almost ready - and besides offering different products, will also be a platform for bits&bobs shopping in Thailand, markets, fairs etc.

We have already partnered with a few good local artisan producers, but would still really like your input to what products to include ? 🙏🏽

WANT TO EXPLORE BANGKOK BY 🛺 ?

“FEED ME PLEASE” – BANGKOK by TUKTUK

Pradit and Suban are both the proud owners of colorful 3-wheeled tuktuks. Together with them, we will venture into the narrow alleys and busy roads of Bangkok and get this vibrant city under our skin. The cool Talad Noi, which is basically a second hand market for engine spare parts invites its visitors in for some quirky alleys with an amazing local vibe – Pradit and Suban navigate these twisted small roads like total pros. We will invite you in for coffee in one of the cool and hidden places in the area.

In Chinatown, we will invite you to try food from our favorite local vendors. We used to live quite close to this pulsating area and spend more hours than one can count getting lost in all the deliciousness, and now we want to share some of it with you. At Pak Klong Talad, which is Bangkok’s largest flower market and open 24/7, we will explore possibly the most exotic and colorful place found in the city. Our lovely friends and vendors at the market, Ward and Goi, have been so kind to allow us into their world of lotus folding.
We will cross the river for a bit of exploring on the Thonburi side of Chao Prayah River as well as enjoying the best roasted duck in the city at a 100-year-old local restaurant.
Have kids joining? Then we always stop at a little temple with a huge turtle pond where kids can feed the many turtles, bread, fruit, and more.

We will meet you at Robinson Bangrak Shopping Mall at 10 am (2 min from BTS Saphan Taksin) and will wave goodbye at the same place approximately 4-5 hours later but much depending on your pace.

We actually agree with her!
Nestled in the old part of the city down a quiet little soi is an amazing place to Zzzzz....

Small, homey, very, very colorful, and decorated with old-school items - makes this place a little like a museum📺🪭🪷

Their croissants are next level, and they make really good fruit smoothies - a perfect hangout before/after exploring the city 🥐🍹🍌🍍

Take a stroll in the area and enjoy local life - especially the nearby market Nang Loeng, where most food stalls are 2nd and 3rd generation 🍡🍜
Perfect for visitors who are looking for a vibey, quiet spot for their days in Bangkok - but also a good option for a little staycation for expats.

WANT TO EXPLORE the green side of Bangkok?🦎🌿🥭☀️🚲💚♻️.........

"ISLAND LIFE" - BANG KRACHAO by BIKE & KAYAK
Leave the city behind by local boat and spend half a day exploring the amazing and green Bang Krachao by bike and kayak. The island is actually called “The Green Lung of Bangkok” – and with good reason. It is home to hundreds of plants and animal species and truly invites you in for some good active exploring.
We will cross the river by boat, rent a couple of old, charming bikes with Khun Dah and then venture into the narrow, green paths of the island for some good old biking, a bit of kayak with our good friend Khun Anek, some locally bought snacks on-the-go and a bit chill'in at the Hidden Woods Café (or similar).

We will meet at the Klong Toey Nok Pier at either 9 AM or 2 PM and will wave goodbye at the same place approximately 4 hours later - but depending on your pace .... no stress from out side🙏🏽

Have kids joining? We have seats for kids, so they can enjoy the beauty from behind your bike.

THE ENTRANCE to one of our favorite places in Bangkok - for a weekend chill, a good coffee & to just sit and enjoy our daughter exploring all the quirkiness of this place.

WE LOVE sharing our personal favorites with all of you. It's probably not places you will find on a "top 10 things to do in Bangkok" list on Google, but our hope is that you will end up appreciating that 😅

"WAKEY WAKEY" - CHIANG MAI at sunrise without the crowds 🌅

Khun Kit became a monk at a young age. His grandfather, who was a practicing monk at that time, told him that monks get a lot of free food - and as Khun Kit dreamed of a full stomach, he decided to join his grandfather
He ended up being a monk for 6 years and can't wait to share his personal experience and deep knowledge with you 🙏🏽
Together with him you will explore monks chanting at the famous Doi Suthep temple, offer food to the monks and if the weather allows it enjoy a bit of peaceful morning bliss as the sun rises over Chiang Mai city.
A little coffee break with some good local beans, and then you are ready to explore the beautiful forest temple Wat Pha Lat, where Khun Kit will teach you a bit about meditation walking.
Lastly, the cool and less-known Wat Umong temple with tunnels and bats (if you are lucky).

Khun Kit will pick you up at your hotel at 5 am. We know it's early, so don't worry too much about getting your hair done and putting on mascara - as long as you wear clothes that cover knees and shoulders, we are happy.

After the tour, you can choose to be dropped off at your hotel back in the city or at Ban Kang Wat (10 minutes drive).
Ban Kang Wat is a charming little art and handicraft community. Here you can enjoy a bit of breakfast - we recommend getting khao soi at Yook Samai, but also possible to get a fried egg on toast, a croissant & a freshly squeezed juice.
Enjoy some of the many hands-on activities such as painting, making your own keychain, etc.🌈

~NEW TOUR~ 🌶🧄🍅🥥🍜🥄🥚🧄.........

"NOW, THAT'S A LOT OF GINGER!" - cooking with auntie Tong and uncle Pan in Chiang Mai.

We recently explored Chiang Mai, where we were very lucky to meet Khun Tong and Pan. The owners of a charming guesthouse and hosts of small private workshops. We spend a couple of hours together with them cooking up the most amazing Northern food - very traditional style.

Kind note, this is not a cooking class, more like a chill cooking experience. English is limited, so expect a lot of thumbs up for "delicious" and big smiles and giggles for "too spicy?" 😁.
