Close Encounters with Elephants: Learn About Elephant Behavior
Elephant Nature Park is the best choice 🐘

Located in Chiang Mai, this elephant sanctuary has been established for over 20 years. It’s a rescue and rehabilitation center for Asian elephants and also shelters hundreds of stray cats and dogs. Most of the elephants here have been rescued from circuses, camps that performed shows for tourists, or from working in labor-intensive environments like logging and transportation.
At this park, elephants don’t paint pictures or carry chairs to give rides to humans.

These performances are carried out by trainers who control the elephant’s movements by using needles or nails to prick their ears.

🐘 Elephants carrying chairs for long periods
This often leads to sunken shoulders, severe back injuries, and deformed feet.

🐘 No kidnapping of baby elephants or killing mother elephants
Elephants are social animals. To train a baby elephant, people often kill the mother and chain the baby, depriving it of food, whipping it until it gives up its attachment to the mother.

Netizens are swooning, calling them “adorable” and saying they’re “in love”!

The two sisters are Golden Tigers ( ), known for their lighter fur color compared to regular tigers. With their cute and dazed expressions, many Thai visitors have been lining up to catch a glimpse.

Golden Tigers, like White Tigers, owe their unique fur color to genetic mutations caused by inbreeding. According to CNN, the birth rate of White Tigers is less than 1 in 10,000, and Golden Tigers are even rarer. Currently, there are only about 30 Golden Tigers living in captivity worldwide.
