Hi guys ! 🌞 Here are some news :

1. I had to put bookings on hold 2 weeks ago for health reasons : my apologies to those whose last-minute requests I couldn't honor ! 🙏

2. We moved at the beginning of December : the new office is 50 meters from the old one (see the video). The address on Google Maps is up to date. If you had booked before the change of address, you will receive an email notification shortly. 📩

3. Many of you are still waiting for a response from me for January and February, some for weeks... I'll reply to you very soon ! If your request concerns the month of March 2025 and beyond, please be a little more patient than the others ! ⏳

4. If you are booking late and want it to go quickly, I encourage you to check the information on the site rather than waiting for me to answer your questions ! Don't waste time asking me if there are availabilities, go ahead and fill out a reservation form on the https://www.alongtheklong.com/booking page. If your request is for the same day, use the telephone number indicated on the website. 🚨

C'est officiel : de nouveaux guides viennent compléter l'équipage !

Pour vous servir, voici Jan, Olive et Nat : ils ont plein de choses à raconter et parlent un anglais plus que correct et facile à comprendre, même avec un niveau scolaire ;)

Ils vous emmèneront visiter des petits coins charmants dans les klongs en toute convivialité.

Ceux qui ont impérativement besoin d'un guide francophone n'ont pas d'autre choix que la formule Floating Market Trip du weekend - avec Aom, de retour ce weekend (il reste de la place ce samedi) !

Nos petites croisières sans guide sont sympa aussi !

Pour réserver, svp veuillez directement remplir un formulaire de réservation sur le site alongtheklong.com : les formules possibles vous seront automatiquement proposées en fonction du jour, de votre effectif, etc.

Je suis en train de répondre aux personnes que j'avais mis en attente pour février 2025 : je demande aux concernés encore un tout petit peu de patience...

What does Netflix have to do with Along The Klong ?

The answer is simple : an unforgettable escapade through Bangkok's picturesque canals !

We recently had the great pleasure of welcoming two rising stars of Spanish cinema : Enrique Arce (best known for his role in “La casa de Papel”) and the talented Candela Gonzalez (“Mi soledad tiene alas”), who are currently shooting a new Netflix series...

In between shoots, our guests of honor came to explore Bangkok's hidden klongs aboard one of our private boats. An adventure they won't soon forget !

We can't wait to find out more about this mysterious series (especially the scenes shot in Bangkok), the 2 actors wouldn't tell us more...

Quand Simon et son ami voyagent en Thaïlande, ils ne font pas que visiter : ils participent activement à l'embellissement général du pays, partout où ils passent 😅

Là en l'occurence, en visitant le petit temple de l'île au milieu des klongs, ils ont remarqué à juste titre que ça manquait d'une touche de rouge... hop là

Si comme Simon, vous n'avez pas le temps de niaiser, réservez dès à présent vos places pour une balade pleine de surprises !

We were cruising quietly this morning around the Wat Ko. A guy relaxing under a pavilion along the canal exclaimed "Welcome to Thailand !" when suddenly we saw a big snake in the water, swimming in our direction.... Usually the monitor lizards and the rare small snakes we've already met get scared and run away abruptly as soon as the boat approaches - but this one came very close... For a second I really thought it was going to climb aboard !!! 😱🐍😅

Bon bah voilà, 2023 touche à sa fin. Bilan globalement positif... Un peu moins de visiteurs qu'avant la pandémie mais l'aventure continue !

5 évènements marquants qui ont jalonné 2023 :

- Les guides de voyage Petit Futé ont entendu la voix du peuple et nous ont référencé sur leur site : merci à eux, merci à Toi ô public

- Pi Mot, batelier de la communauté Lad Mayom, qui a peut-être déjà emmené en balade certains d'entre vous, s'est éteint il y a quelques mois... Adieu Pi Mot

- La pétillante guide / animatrice anglophone Goffy qui officie depuis 20 ans sur les longtails de Taling Chan a rejoint notre équipage, elle est disponible du lundi au vendredi pour mettre l'ambiance dans le bateau avec son mic (formule Classic Adventure)

- J'ai récemment trouvé un nouvel espace à louer, à deux pas du départ de nos excursions, qui me servira de bureau pour accueillir les clients. Actuellement vide, le lieu va être en travaux pendant les prochaines semaines, je ne manquerai pas de vous informer dès son ouverture

- J'ai également fait la connaissance d'un nouveau batelier nommé Pi Jae, opérationnel pour honorer la formule la plus "local-like" qui soit : le Small-Boat Tour ! Petite barque à moteur, sans toit (chapeau conseillé), capable d'aller dans les klongs les plus étroits. Nouveaux circuits à venir, plus sauvages - je mettrai à jour le site et la brochure en janvier. Uniquement pour les groupes de 1 à 2 personnes sans problème d'équilibre et de mobilité (voir le bateau sur la photo). Port du gilet obligatoire. Balade d'1 à 2 heures avec Pi Jae (siamophone, non-anglophone). Plus d'infos par mail

Je ne répondrai pas aux messages du 31 décembre au 3 janvier (je reste dispo par tel via WhatsApp afin de guider les taxis si besoin pour ceux qui ont déjà réservé).

Je suis normalement à jour de toutes mes réservations de janvier : si vous attendez encore une réponse, elle est sûrement dans vos spams !

À ceux qui sont encore en attente d'une confirmation pour février : encore un tout petit peu de patience, je m'occupe de vous dès mon retour.
