เป็นเกาะหินขนาดใหญ่ที่มีความสูงชัน ไม่มีหาดทราย แต่สามารถดำน้ำตื้นมองทัศนียภาพใต้น้ำได้อย่างสวยงาม ไม่ว่าจะเป็นแนวปะการังน้ำตื้น ภูเขาดอกไม้ทะเล

เป็นเกาะที่เราสามารถเดินขึ้นหาดเพื่อไปเดินชมบรรยากาศรอบ ๆ ได้ จุดสำคัญของเกาะลังกาจิวคือเป็นเกาะที่มีการสัมปทานรังนก เพราะมีนกนางแอ่น และค้างคาวจำนวนมากทำรังอาศัยอยู่

Thao Maha Phrom Shrine : Thao Maha Brahma Located at the Ratchaprasong intersection. Next to Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel, Ratchadamri Road, Lumpini Subdistrict, Pathumwan District, Bangkok This shrine of Lord Brahma is well known and highly respected. It is believed that if you make a wish with a dance, You will be successful in what you want. Therefore there is a Chatri dance to make a wish every day.

Visiter le Wat Suthat & la Grande Balançoire aujourd'hui ( Après Covid 19 )

Situé sur l’avenue Bamrung Mueang, ce temple, le Wat Suthat, est réputé pour ses peintures murales du XXème siècle dans la chapelle principale.
Le temple est ouvert tous les jours de 9h à 17h.
Quant à la Grande Balançoire, à l’extérieur du temple, elle était autrefois utilisée sans interruption pendant le cérémonial brahmanique.
De nombreuses boutiques près de la Grande Balançoire proposent une grande quantité d’objets du culte bouddhique.

Le Wat Suthat Thepwararam de Bangkok est l’un des six temples royaux de Thaïlande
Sa construction fut débutée par le roi Rama Ier en 1807 et poursuivie par le roi Rama II qui aida à en sculpter les portes de bois.

Le temple fut achevé sous le règne de Rama III en 1847.

Wat Suthat & la Grande Balançoire
Le portique que l’on peut voir devant le temple était, à l’origine, un jeu consistant à s’asseoir sur une balançoire où l’on devait se balancer pour attraper des pièces d’or fixées sur un poteau devant le portique. Il y eut tellement de morts que le jeu fut arrêté.
Le temple abrite une figure du Bouddha Phra Sri Sakyamuni ou « Sisakayamunee » importée de la province de Sukhothaï.

Sur la terrasse inférieure se trouvent 28 pagodons chinois indiquant que 28 bouddhas sont nés sur cette terre.
Ces statues chinoises étaient ramenées car elles permettaient aux bateaux d’être stabilisés lors des traversées au cas où les butins étaient maigres.

C’est ainsi que dans ce temple se trouvent de nombreuses reliques chinoises qui n’ont pas toutes été jetées.

Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen is a royal wat ('temple') located in Phasi Charoen district, Bangkok, at the Chao Phraya River. Wat Paknam was established in 1610, during the Ayutthaya period.[1] Records indicate that King Suriyenthrathibodi (1703–1709) called the temple "Wat Prasat Suan Sawan"(วัดปราสาทสวนสวรรค์; literally: 'temple of the heavenly garden palace'). However, the name "Wat Paknam" and "Wat Paknam at the river Bang Luang" (วัดปากน้ำในคลองบางหลวง) appear in historical documents of palace administration from 1780 onward.[2][3] Paknam simply means 'lock in canal', which refers to the position of the temple.[4] The temple was renovated at least three times, during the periods of King Taksin, Rama III, and King Chulalongkorn (eighteenth–early twentieth century).[2] However, during the period of King Rama VI (1881–1925), the temple had greatly deteriorated and had no abbot.

Surviving canals and the Chao Phraya River provide a glimpse of a traditional waterborne way-of-life that has remained essentially unchanged over centuries. The river and canals may be explored by chartered boat or cruise.

Khlong Bang Luang Artist House (บ้านศิลปิน), antique wooden house over 200 years old by the Khlong Bangkok Yai is a showcase of many art works and also a Thai puppet show.

Khlong Bangkok Yai is a stretch in a loop of the old Chao Phraya River. The waterway became a canal when the 2 Km long shortcut named Khlong Ban Makok Yai or Khlong Lat Bangkok was dug in 1542 in the reign of King Chairacha (r. 1534-1547). The former loop was transformed into four canals being Bangkok Noi, Bang Ramat, Taling Chan, and Bangkok Yai. The cutting was responsible for the creation of Thonburi and Bangkok. About 3.6 Km further inside the canal near Wat Pak Nam Phasi Charoen is a canal dug in the period between 1705 and 1721 AD linking the Chao Phraya River with the Tha Jin River close to its mouth at the Gulf of Thailand.

It is part of the Maha Nikaya fraternity and is the origin of the Dhammakaya tradition. It is a large and popular temple, supported by prosperous community members.
