Our Story

IC Teppanyaki by Tokyo

When talking about Japan, one of the most well-known cuisine is “Teppanyaki”. It is the dish that uses iron griddle to cook, which greatly represents Japanese culture and culinary very well. Etymologically speaking, “Teppanyaki” originated from two terms: “teppan”: the metal plat that food is cooked on and “yaki” that means grilled, broiled and pan-fried.

Our restaurant, “Teppanyaki by Tokyo” has been serving truly delicious Teppanyaki for over 10 years in MBK center shopping mall, central of Bangkok. Our place, which was formerly known as “Tokyo Teppanyaki”, is renowned for specialization and expertise in this dish amongst locals. Thanks to growing market, we had lots of diverse customers that we decided to name it as “IC Teppanyaki by Tokyo”, which derives from “Inter Cuisine Teppanyaki”. Of course, we still serve you original tasteful Teppanyaki as always.
