Dear Thaïlsaciens and friends of Alsace in Thailand, time is passing by and it has been a while since we all last met. Therefore let’s meet at this very charming & casual venue in Bangkok to share a drink and a bite, meeting newcomers and enjoy a friendly event. Last minute walk-ins are welcome, however it will be better for our host to book so they can accommodate the space accordingly.

Bonjour à tous les membres de la communauté française de Thaïlande. Ce post pour vous faire suivre un message de Lise TALBOT BARRE, nouvelle Conseillère culturelle à l’Ambassade de France en Thaïlande. Elle occupait précédemment le poste de Consule Générale de France à Pondichéry et Chennai. Bienvenue à elle.

Lise nous informe que la Thaïlande a été choisie comme pays pilote d’un nouveau dispositif, destinés aux enfants français ou franco-thaïlandais ne maîtrisant pas bien la langue française, leur permettant de bénéficier gratuitement de cours de français !

Ce système, le PELF (PASS ENFANT LANGUE FRANCAISE), voulu par le Président de la République, M. Emmanuel Macron, vise à rapprocher ces enfants de leur langue d’héritage, en leur proposant cette première approche.

Organisés dans un programme simple de 20h de leçons dispensées en ligne et en groupe de 6 enfants au maximum, ces cours sont gratuits.

Pour bénéficier du PELF il faut que votre enfant soit :
· français ou binational
· âgé de 6 à 11 ans
· inscrits au Registre des Français établis hors de France, résident en Thaïlande
· non scolarisé dans un établissement d’enseignement français

La date limite d’inscription a été fixée au 30 septembre 2024

A combination of fair and music festival, this unique event promotes Alsace’s fine wines and the work of local winemakers.

The Foire aux Vins site is divided into two parts: on the one hand, there’s the fair-exhibition at the Zénith in Colmar. More than 300 exhibitors will be showcasing local gastronomy and products through their exhibitions and events of all kinds.

On the other hand, the open-air theater hosts a variety of musical performances. At the Foire aux Vins de Colmar, concert time has become a must for many festival-goers. Hip-hop, rock-n-roll, hard rock, electro or jazz, there’s something for everyone! Every year, artists from all generations and backgrounds come together to put on an unforgettable musical show.

Today June 24, 2024: ALSACE FAN DAY - 7th World Alsace Lovers' Day

HOPLA! on the road for the 7th Alsace Fan Day 2024

This year, June 24 falls on a Monday. "Les Thaïlsaciens" is proud to be part of this celebration although we are not organising any special event today for several external reasons.

Alsace's gastronomy and vineyards are now world-renowned.

Where ever your are in Thaïland, if you like, you can use your phone in landscape mode to make a video lasting no more than 1 min, in which you say hello to us, specifying the place and country where you are, and send it to [email protected]. It will be visible on the AFD website.

As you can see, it's not that complicated... and don't forget to dress in red and white!
