Sri Lanka is a small island with a big story to tell! Earlier this month, a group of SpiceRoads riders uncovered that story from the saddle on our classic 𝙎𝙧𝙞 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙠𝙖 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙨 tour, capturing some great photographs along the way.

Starting from the palm-fringed western coast of Negombo, we cycled inland to Sri Lanka’s cultural heart, exploring the iconic Lion Rock and the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. After a rest day in Kandy, we rode deep into the country’s tea-growing highlands before descending to the jungles of Udawalawe National Park, where wild elephants greeted us. Finally, we reached the southern coast, famed for its white-sand beaches, surf, and the colonial-era Dutch fort in Galle.

Welcome to Northern Tanzania, home to some of Africa’s most famous national parks. The mystical Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan beckons! With fewer vehicle transfers, more character-rich accommodations, and some of Colombia's best mountain/gravel biking routes, this is an adventure you won’t want to miss.
