This February, Scuba Adventures Plano are joining us for a unique trip. They're embarking on an extraordinary expedition to Indonesia to dive a B-24 Liberator, a piece of history that touches their team personally.

80 years ago, one of their diver’s grandfathers bravely downed this aircraft during the heat of conflict, leaving behind a story submerged in mystery and heroism. Now, we have the honor of helping SAP connect with this legacy, exploring the depths to uncover a piece of all our pasts.

This is not just diving into the ocean; this is a real family history, bringing it to the surface for the world to see.

Whether you have a large rig set up or prefer a GoPro you will find dedicated space for charging and storage of all your camera equipment aboard each of our liveboards, along with specific rinse tanks just for cameras and a well trained crew to handle your "baby" responsibly.

The American Mahan-class Destroyer ship, USS Lamson was sunk very early on during the tests in Bikini Atoll and appears almost like a pirate ship underwater.

She features several guns, torpedoes and bombs and generally provides good access to divers along with great visibility making her an exceptional dive

With her length of 104 metres (341 ft), she might not be the biggest of the Bikini wrecks but that makes her perfect as you can take your time to explore. Sitting upright at about 51 metres (167 ft) depth, the shallowest section is at 36 metres and her main deck is between 45-49 metres.

Malapascua Island and the surrounding area offer a wide variety of dive sites and potential marine life encounters. The shy and elusive thresher sharks are one of the main attractions for many divers although there are plenty of other shark species to be seen, with Tiger sharks now making a regular appearance.

The reefs directly off the shores of Malapascua Island are relatively shallow with patches of coral and some great 'muck' sites. In contrast, the outer reefs have stunning walls, pinnacles and plateaus with plenty of colourful corals and an abundance of life; Sea snakes, rays, turtles and much more.

The northernmost part of Egypt's offshore marine park comprises two islands known as the Brothers.

Big Brother, the larger island, is 400 metres long with a spectacular plateau on the southeast corner, dotted with coral mountains and famous for thresher and grey reef shark sightings. On the western side of Big Brother are two impressive wrecks both positioned almost vertically beside the reef; the Aida and the Numidia. The reef wall is dotted with large soft corals and its likely to see grey reef sharks and Napolean wrasse.

Small Brother Island is a little over 200 metres long but hosts an incredible concentration and variety of marine life. There is a pristine fan coral forest, a massive collection of hard and soft corals and compelling overhangs to explore. The main attraction is the abundant pelagic marine life with regular, seasonal sightings of hammerhead, thresher, grey reef and oceanic whitetip sharks.

Castle Rock, one of the signature sites of is one of two offshore pinnacles located off the coast of Gili Lawa Laut. In the sweeping currents white-tip reef sharks and trevally can be seen corralling large numbers of neon fusiliers. Schools of surgeonfish swarm over the corals and large barrel sponges, where octopus, crustaceans and nudibranchs can be found.

Halimeda algae can be locally abundant on reefs of the Asia-Pacific region and is used by several creatures to camouflage against predators. The Halimeda ghost pipefish and Halimeda crab being two fabulous examples, you may also discover some seaslugs or winged pipefish in amongst the dense leaves too.

The smallest reef in the strait of Tiran is Thomas Reef where currents can potentially be very strong. The ends of the reef are vertical walls with a large plateau at about 25 metres on the southeastern side. The plataeu is covered in colourful corals and has a
fence of gorgonian fans where you can find the longnose hawkfish.

After the Japanese surrender, the already war damaged IJN Nagato was seized by US forces on 30th August 1945 and subsequently selected as target ship for Operation Crossroads. She was positioned 870 metres (½ mile) from the hypocentre of Test Baker and landed completely upside down on the seabed at 52 metres (170ft). Her most prominent features are the four propellers at a depth of 33.5 metres (110ft), the 16" guns in the stern and bow areas suspended from her hull at 50 metres (164ft).

Fushi Kandu, situated on the eastern side of Laamu Atoll is one of the most popular channel dives for guests of the #BlueVoyager. The channel starts on a shallow seabed at around 10-15 metres and descends to a plateau at 35 metres. It is roughly 250 metres long with several pinnacles across its width which attract large schools of reef fish. Nurse sharks and stingrays can often be spotted resting on the sandy bottom, and grey reef sharks, white-tip reef sharks and eagle rays are also regularly found here.
