Raja Ampat is huge, 50,000 sq km, with hundreds of islands and an astounding diversity of habitats, which translates to wildly different diving experiences from pelagic filled drifts to magic muck dives.

Divers may encounter anything from pygmy seahorses to manta rays; and some species such as the epaulette shark which are endemic to the region. There is also a wealth of crustaceans, cephalopods and molluscs to look out for too.

Wreck Diving in . Laying within Malakal Harbour are the remains of several Japanese supply ships which were sunk by Allied forces during "Operation Desecrate" in 1944. The Teshio Maru, The Chuyo Maru and The Iro Maru are all within recreational diving limits with plenty to explore from the mounted guns to the interior compass and telegraph. Encrusted with corals, the wrecks are also home to schools of batfish and some large groupers.

When you're diving deep wrecks in there are a number of pre-dive checks each of our guests goes through to ensure their rig is correctly set up and mixes are appropriate for the dive ahead, whilst our crew remain on hand to assist with extra tanks and cameras.
