"Yee Peng Lantern Festival @ Horizon Village"

🏮🏮🏮 "Yeepeng Lantern Festival at Horizon Village 2019 ” happening in this 11th and 12th of November, 2019 at the Horizon Village, Doi Saket, Chiang Mai. Enjoy the Botanic Garden Tram Tour, dinner in Lanna atmosphere in “Local Market theme (Kad Mua)”, take pictures with airborne Hot Air Balloons during the time of dusk, watch Thai-Lanna Traditional Performances, and mass release of lanterns, and many more!

Once a year ONLY !!!!
Venue: Horizon Village and Resort
Date: 11th & 12th November 2019
**All Lanterns are biodegradable**

Itinerary

16:00 Meet up at Chiang Mai Cultural Centre (Ticket not include transfer from Chiang Mai City to Chiang Mai Cultural Centre)

Transfer service by 40-seater bus from Chiang Mai City (Old Chiang Mai Cultural Centre) to Horizon Village and Resort in Doi Saket District starts at 16:00. (Takes approximately 45 minutes)

16:30 Registration
Welcomed by staffs, go through registration process
Enjoy Botanic Garden Tour with Tram Service (Service terminates at 18:00)
17:45 Performances
- Enjoy having dinner in Lanna atmosphere in “Local Market theme (Kad Mua)” Take pictures with airborne Hot Air Balloons during the time of dusk Hot Air Balloons Show: Burners inject flame synchronized with “Loy Krathong” song
- Watch Thai-Lanna Traditional Performances: Candle Dance, Arms-Swords-Fire Dance
Flower Dance
- Receive and float “Krathongs” at the Botanic Garden pier
20:00 Assemble at the “Khom Loy area”
- Performance Parade of Nang Ram (Dancing Lady) on her palanquin
- Watch Lantern Releasing Demonstration
20:45 Together, release the Khom Loy (lantern) simultaneously
- Performance of Nang Ram on the Lotus Stage
21:30 Finale
Event comes to an end, good luck and bon voyage!

Meet at the parking area for boarding the bus back to Old Chiang Mai Cultural Centre. (Takes approximately 30 minutes)
