Convenient enough. No need for airport pick-up as all the taxis know Baan JaJa. Please note prices increase a bit at odds hours.

Tourist visits to Thailand's lock-neck Karen, or ethnic Padaung, villages can often be a controversial topic. Many people view the tours as akin to a "human zoo". However, several of the "long-neck" women themselves have been outspoken in calling for tours to their villages to continue, saying that the fees for photographs and souvenir sales are the best (if not only) income they have. This is a good time to visit Chiang Mai. Lower room rate with good promotion. There may be some light rain but not everyday and not for long. Cloudy sky most of the time makes it pleasant for strolling in the old city, or even cross-country cycling. And up on high mountains, it is even nicer.

The end of Songkran Festival. Most guests go to Pai for relaxation. The city is now a bit quieter. Abby is our return guest. Since the Songkran of last year, we had kept her water guns for this year, and we will do just the same until next year. Well, Yamada San’s, too. He also left for Pai in Abby’s bus. Hope to see you all next year!

Happy Songkran!!!!!
Fun time begins now. Our guests start buying GUNS!!! (water guns, of course). But apart from that, many beautiful parades and performances are on the way throughout the festival.
