**HOTEL REVIEW PULLMAN PANWA PHUKET**
Hello everyone and good evening from Phuket!
Today, we visited Cape Panwa on the east side of Phuket, about 15 minutes outside of Phuket Town, to check out the Pullman Panwa. This hotel, with 214 rooms and pool villas, is located near the end of Cape Panwa, an area that is less frequently booked and known. This is mainly because the beaches are heavily affected by tides, which limits swimming on this side of the island. For those coming to Phuket for a beach holiday and who love swimming, we would recommend the west side of the island instead.
The Pullman Panwa is ideal for:
- Guests seeking a quieter environment without the need for a long beach right at their doorstep.
- Guests wanting to explore a more authentic side of the island and experience Phuket Town.
- Guests visiting during the rainy season who still wish to swim.
The Pullman Panwa offers everything you need for a holiday, whether it's for a few nights or a two-week stay. There are 9 room categories, and I took a look at two of them:
- The first category is "Deluxe Garden" (see pictures) located on the 1st or 2nd floor.
- On the 3rd and 4th floors, you'll find the "Deluxe Seaview" (see videos). Both room types are similarly equipped and are about 50 m². Maximum occupancy: 2 adults + 1 child. Smoking is allowed on the balcony, there are rooms for disabled guests, and each building has an elevator.
Additionally, there are various family rooms, suites, and pool villas with garden or sea views, which are slightly larger (between 70 and 150 m²). We were particularly impressed by the garden-view pool villa, which is very beautiful and spacious—highly recommended for honeymooners!
The Pullman features 2 pools, a kids’ pool with a slide, 3 restaurants, several bars, a beach club, a kids’ club, a well-equipped gym, and a spa. At the beach, you can enjoy complimentary extras such as kayaks and paddleboards.
The hotel is well-maintained, clean, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. For active guests, there are plenty of activities for all ages, including yoga, aqua gym, and (pool) volleyball for adults, as well as pizza-making, crafts, and coloring contests for children. There’s no chance of getting bored here!
There are plenty of sun loungers and cabanas by the pool and beach, and the atmosphere is wonderful. A major advantage is that you can swim here year-round (although it does depend on the tides), and the sea gradually deepens, making it ideal for smaller children.
Right outside the hotel, you’ll find an increasing number of restaurants, massage parlors, and shops—just cross the street! Some recommended restaurants include “Treetop” (Thai), “Curry Night” (Indian cuisine), “Eat Me,” and “Sawasdee” (both Thai).
Within less than 10 minutes, you can reach the end of Cape Panwa, where the Aquarium is located (entrance fee: 100-200 Baht), which is a great spot to visit, especially with kids. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the night market, Phuket Old Town, and the Central Shopping Center. A taxi to Phuket Town costs 400-500 Baht, and about half that with Grab. It takes about an hour to get to Patong or the west side, depending on traffic.
Guests who have stayed here before are welcome to share their experiences! ☺️
For us, it’s an absolute recommendation!
