🌊🐠 Ever wondered what it’s like to swim with a sea crate or watch nudibranchs lay their eggs? Or how about seeing cleaning shrimp doing their thing? 🤿✨

Sea snakes don’t have scales (special scales on the belly that help them grip and slide along the ground), so if a sea snake ends up on a beach, it can’t swim back into the sea. Instead, sea snakes have a paddle-shaped tail. 🌊👀

Today we enjoyed company of this sweety, for more than 2 minutes. He was so curious and gentle. Leopard sharks live up to 30 years and are more active at night than day. Therefore we treasure this moment and are happy, that our group of 16 divers from Czech Republic 🇨🇿 could memorize this moment with us!

We met this beauty on our Thai West Coast dives. 🤿 Leopard sharks live around 30 years, are harmless to humans and we just ❤️ them, as the rest of our 🦈 sharky family.

One of the underwater mysteries that in its day puzzled experts was the finding of strange drawings in the sand with almost perfect circular patterns found on the seafloor opposite Japan. It took a decade to figure out why they originated and why they suddenly appeared and disappeared until they finally figured it out.

The author of these astonishing nearly 2 feet-wide formations was a newly discovered species of puffer fish that doesn't measure more than 12 centimeters. Subsequent studies determined that these were ornate circles to lure mates in for mating. Males spend six weeks building these "cultivating circles" underwater just to mate for a few seconds.

For your elaboration, gather fine sand on mounds and decorate them with seashells marine finds. If lucky, the willing female will be placed in the center of the circle to indicate approval for mating. If not, the offshore current will take your masterpiece.

Nature will never stop fascinating us.

Did you know that cuttlefish have 3 hearts ❤️? These lovely creatures 🦑 have an amazing sight - they see also behind themselves! 👀 Reffered to as chameleons of the seas, they can change color even though they are completely color blind. 🌈 They can also change color to match their surroundings in complete darkness! 🪸 photos by our diving instructor: Thomas Honza Cabalka
