Mahouts are people who take everyday care for elephants and who have a real relationship with them. It’s a job you cannot learn at any school - it’s usually profession passed from father to son.
Most of the mahouts are working at riding camps. But their work isn’t based on relation - they have to force elephants to do what they want.
And that’s why this photo touches us. We can see here confidence and trust. And this is something we deeply believe at Haven.

Then yummy Thai Lunch and finaly up in to the mountain for happy off-road .
