Angthong Marine Park
Join us as we take a trip to the stunning Angthong Marine Park. This truly is paradise!
Laem Sor Pagoda
On the southern shores of Koh Samui at the end of the beach of Bang Kao Bay lies Laem Soi Pagoda. This golden looking stupa is located right next to beach. It is a beautiful structure guarded by two yaks, nature spirits.
The are around Laem Sor Pagoda is a public park and many locals come here for weekend picnics, celebrations and for praying. When strolling around at the beach and you do embrace the piece and quiet vibe you do understand why. This is just amazingly peaceful.
Not far away from the stupa you find a building with glass walls that contains a small boat. This is the boat house and in the boat you will find the wax figure of the man who built the pagoda, Luang Poor Dang Tisso. Luang Poor Dang Tisso was a highly respected monk on Koh Samui. He passed away in 1976 on a ship accident.
If you out driving in this quiet area of Koh Samui we highly recommend you to stop here, enter is free of charge.

Overlap Sone
Overlap Stone
Once a hidden gem, now an iconic landmark of Samui.
This place have gone through some serious facelifting through the past few years going from almost hard to find to what now is a tourist attraction with new staircases, big parking, cafes and ticketbooth.
Back in the days it was almost a bit hard to know where it was, no real parking area and a narrow path through the jungle took you to some locals house and you had to walk through their front yard to get to that wooden bridge leading you to the eight meter high rock balancing on another bigger rock.
Even if we can’t help to think how Overlap stone lost a bit of that magic with that old bridge, flowers and trees that was growing around. It was one of the best photographic spots on the island, it still is well worth going here.
Place is beautiful, the views from up here is amazing and for the 200 baht in entrance fee you will receive a soft drink of your choice. Loads of staircases takes you up the around 500 meter from the entrance to the top. A good idea is too have a bottle of water.
Overlap stone is accessible with both car and motorbike. The road is a bit steep and if you not comfortable with driving it could be worth let someone else drive you here.
Having trouble finding or need some take you there? Come by the shop, we open seven days a week and you will find us in Mae Nam at Soi 1, opposite Thai Immigration Office. Welcome!

The small souvenir shops around is quite nice and there are plenty places to eat or just grab a ice cream. We took a quick stroll a cloudy afternoon.
