Krabi is Back! - November 2021

With the news that Krabi can once again welcome guests without quarantine has prompted local operators to restart their tour offerings.
We can now offer both private and group trips to the Islands, kayaking, rock climbing, horse riding and many more.

Prices and itineraries have changed a bit so, we will be updating our website with new information as we get it.

At the moment, services may not be everyday for every trip so best to just send us an email to [email protected] to check.

The Islands are open!

As of July 1st 2020, Poda Island, Chicken Island and the Hong Islands are open again. Tours are running on some days as and when they have enough customers. We would recommend a private longtail trip which we can organize for you at very reasonable price.
We are planning a trip in the next few days, excited to see what they look like after being closed for so long, it should be even more beautiful than ever :)

Information

Out of respect for the Royal Cremation Ceremony for the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, all tours are cancelled on the 26th October.

KrabiTrek will not be taking any bookings for this day. Everything back to normal on the 27th October.

A Ceremony will be taking place in every province in Thailand. The Krabi Ceremony will be taking place in Thara Park in Krabi Town.

Anyone wishing to pay their respects is welcome, but please be respectful and wear suitable clothing if you wish to attend.

Jellyfish at Phi Phi

News reports today say that some Bluebottle jellyfish have been spotted at the Phi Pjhi Islands. If you are visiting the Phi Phi islands, please be aware and listen out for any warnings. Bluebottle stings are very painful!

Tup Kaek Nature Trail - Just The Best View Had heard that they were upgrading... the trail so thought we would check it out. The National Park staff have just widened the lower part of the walk thankfully and still has the tough sections of tree roots to clamber up. (Whats a Nature trail if you don't have to clamber a bit?) The view at the top is just as stunning as ever, today was overcast and rained a bit on the way down, but you can never get bored of that view! Was busy today being a Thai National Holiday but that just meant 15 people or so at the top so, certainly not crowded. Its a bit of a struggle to get up there, but well worth it.
