Warming up to The Koh Samui Road Trip.
Comming from Phuket 5h incl. rest stops we arrived to Mainland Donsak near the ferry harbor. Here we always do an overnight stay at a small beach oasis only few Mainstream travelers has heard about.
Totally beachfront, extreme pretty views and calm waters.
Modern style accommodation like on photos are THB 1,500 per night incl. breakfast 2 persons.

Now it's Durian season in Thailand. It's also called The King of Fruits.
What you see in the box was THB 427/DKK 87,00/USD 12.35.
Asian seam to be addicted to Durian the same way some Europeans like cheese.
I tried it, but would prefer cheese 100x.

'Temple of the Buffalo's Eyes' is one place where the Angkor dynasty build a holy place surrounded by mountains and jungle with herds of Wild Elephants.
Getting there you pass Army camp after Army camp with No Photo signs along the jungle roads.
Camouflage nets, Sandbags and Trenches are plenty.
However the arrival to the historic sight is smooth. Army personnel direct you in the right direction for the Khameer ruins where both the Thai's and Cambodian's has border patrols posted.

10 days ago we did a Phuket/Kathu mountain hike and just before getting back to the civilized world with brick and mortar buildings we saw a Treetop Restaurant which we now are checking out. This new restaurant is called 'Forest and Cafe'. They got a little Skywalk too.
