👉 DTV holders need to do 90 days reports ????
🙂 It has been confirmed that DTV holders are required to do 90 day reports if they stay in the country that long.
Despite what you may have seen in a video on YouTube it is NOT the truth about 90 day reports not being required.
😁Just like most other long term visa holders if you stay in the country for a consecutive 90 days you have to report to your local immigration.
😗 Your first 90 days report from entering Thailand will need to be done in person . As most DTV holders will leave or bounce they probably won’t do a second or more report, so won’t use the online system anyway.

🔥As of July 15, 2024, the Thai government has confirmed the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV Visa Thailand) is now live for those looking to work and travel (“workcation”) in Thailand. The DTV allows holders to stay in Thailand for up to 180 days per entry and is valid for 5 years.

😍 Thailand has launched a new visa called the "Destination Thailand Visa" (DTV), also known as the Softpower Visa, to attract remote workers and those interested in learning about Thai culture. The visa is valid for five years and allows the holder to stay in Thailand for up to 180 days per stay, with the holder able to extend the stay for another 180 days for an additional fee.
🔸The main requirements for applying for a DTV visa include:
* Be 20 years old or older
* Have a minimum balance of 500,000 baht
* Cannot work for companies based in Thailand
- Those who receive this visa can work remotely for foreign companies or engage in cultural activities such as cooking classes or Muay Thai in Thailand. This visa has a fee of 10,000 baht and requires a 180-day exit and re-entry fee of 10,000 baht each time.
🔸 Applicant Qualifications:
1. Teleworkers/Freelancers
2. Participants in activities such as:
* Muay Thai courses
* Thai cooking classes
* Sports training
* Medical treatment
* Seminars
* Music festivals
3. Spouses and dependent children of DTV visa holders
